In search of an ATL-based Production Manager for a nonunion Netflix Docuseries
Weekly rate will be discussed upon consideration and based on experience

(Please do not apply if you are not local to ATL).

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, manage, and communicate daily production planning
- Participate or contribute to staffing, sourcing vendors and locations
- Participate in finding a production office space in ATL for shoot
- Prep is remote until we secure a production office
- Generate and distribute call sheets
- Generate Production Reports, Incident reports, and Accident reports
- Complete the onboarding process for new hires
- Confirm crew submitted timecards by Saturdays
- Oversees and prepares for field needs and logistics
- Manage the shoot day such as making sure the crew arrives on time to the location, the crew is breaking for lunch at their 6th hour, and wrapping at the 12th and half hour.
- Get approval from LP for crew overtime
- Oversee collecting and organizing receipts
- Reconcile own PC
- Review PC envelopes and reconcile Amex statements and send to LP for approval
- Oversee Production Coordinator and Production Assistants
- Draft Purchase Orders and Check requests then send them to LP for approval
- Key team member of a small crew (approx. 15-20 people daily)
- Communicate with producers on achieving their shoot day
- Direct line of communication with LP who will be working remotely

This position will report to the Dubbing Manager - India. THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have a great passion for language, experience with the production of dubs in the Indian region, a deep appreciation of regional cultural differences, and a high level of intellectual curiosity. The role requires you to develop a deep understanding of our original content and be able to strategically identify the challenges and complexities dubbing localization will face before production begins. Preserving original content creative intent will be your mission and developing creative approaches to the local challenges at hand will be your passion.

As a Language Production Manager, Dubbing, your goal will be to represent *** 's quality, culture, and mission in the territory. Making sure our dubbing partners are compliant with our technical and creative standards is crucial for the local strategies. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and initiative. Deep understanding and awareness of local dubbing infrastructure, talent market, and nuances will be the key to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the leading voice of dubbing production in the respective dubbing market
Define standards for excellence and general creative guidelines for the respective territory/country
Analyze content to identify and solve localization challenges in collaboration with the Title Managers/Coordinators on select titles
Build and leverage strong relationships with the talent community in the respective territory/country. Maintenance and growth of existing talent databases
Collaborate with Dubbing Partners and/or Title Managers and Coordinators on dubbed talent casting and enforcement of creative guidelines on select titles
Supervise eligible recording and/or mixing sessions for sensitive and/or high-priority titles
Accommodate and/or provide risk assessment for any special upstream localization requests in the territory. Address, resolve and escalate issues and concerns as needed
Constantly monitor and support local existing dubbing partners to ensure creative and operational excellence is maintained.

REQUIREMENTS

5-10+ years prior experience in managing localization and/or creative workflows within the entertainment industry; background in dubbing creation and a passion for languages and translation quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in managing localization workflows in the entertainment industry; background in dubbing and subtitling creation and a passion for languages and translation quality.
Deep understanding of differences, subtleties, and nuances *** ween subtitle and dub translation.

This role will collaborate across Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production and Editorial to track projects through their lifecycles from conception to archive. Job Duties:

Coordinate resources, equipment and elements to support an efficient production pipeline. This includes scheduling and assigning production & post production resources for individual story and full show creation; manage team calendar and ensure projects are fully staffed
Assist in studio and remote field production management including budgeting, setup and execution. This includes travel, reserving studio space and confirming crew staffing with Producers
Track deliverables, manage project requests and scheduling through all phases of production
Manage asset and metadata delivery to both internal and external platforms and manage all portions of the delivery system. This includes coordinating *** ids, building out scheduling documents andcommunicating plans to internal programming teams, content scheduling teams and external EPG teams.
Liaise with engineering and network operations teams to troubleshoot asset and metadata delivery issues
Maintain production and post-production workflows and schedules to ensure deadlines are met and adjustments are made, when necessary

Assist in tracking the overall channel budget and document anticipated costs vs. actual spends

As a Senior Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the many aspects of production of our mobile games from conception to launch. Well versed in the operations of all control rooms and studio functions
