I am a Nashville-based Line Producer with an increasing workload in Atlanta. I have been in TV for 20 years and have worked in just about every genre at one time or another and done just about every position on set. With a diverse background, I feel like I have a good idea how just about any show should work. I have been able to find creative ways to do them all for every different budget amount, every different time frame and in every different climate you can imagine.

I have an upcoming show that will be filming there beginning in January/February and run through April/May. My last long-term production manager has moved on and I am currently seeking a talented, dedicated PM with experience running a wide variety of shows. As I said, I have an increasing workload, both in Atlanta, in other U.S. locales and abroad so this new relationship could potentially mean a lot of work for the right candidate.

For this show, I will be working remotely for a good portion of the time, joining the show whenever necessary, but keeping my on-set time to a minimum. This should be a senior PM candidate. The perfect candidate will have great attention to detail when it comes to accounting practices, along with a very good logistics head on their shoulders. Having a full stable of contacts in the Atlanta area with a good work history will be essential. The ability to juggle crew, calendar, budget and talent simultaneously, while understanding that none of the above are more important than the others is key.

Job Description

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. For each project, this individual will work closely with the Production & Operations Series Leads on driving the process forward from Pre-Production and Production through Post Production and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicates directly with 3rd Party Production Companies to explain expectations with regard to pre-production, production, post production and delivery.
To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management
Observe all department and company guidelines
You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of Production Management experience required (Network experienced preferred)
1+ years of *** /Entertainment experience required
