BIG PICTURE:
We are looking for a highly organized and team oriented Pre-Production Senior Manager who can help us create short cinematic viral videos! The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of scheduling, casting, locations and props for all productions. The perfect candidate knows how to plan highly efficient productions to minimize any downtime and can support all aspects to ensure things run smoothly and effectively. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication. Strong organization and unwavering attention to detail is a must. This position often requires working long hours including nights and weekends. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Directly overseeing the pre production processes and workflows while collaborating with the team on branding and quality standards
Ensuring scheduling of entire productions are organized and highly efficient to the needs of the team
Overseeing the main production schedule, call sheets and triage the logistics for execution of creative assets from development to delivery
Understanding scripts and breaking them down to plan all necessary aspects of production
Execute multiple video productions in the same day with multiple crews and actors
Overseeing all props and designs for production
Supporting our casting and locations team to ensure quality and diversity
Maintaining internal databases for production schedules, crew, and contacts
Setting expectations and managing production timelines to ensure seamless turnover for both production and post-production teams
WHAT YOU HAVE:
4+ years of experience in a pre-production management or coordinator role within the entertainment industry
Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets, and Docs; Monday.com and Skype experience a plus
Thorough understanding of budgets, schedules, and full-scale production plans for a variety of program types, specials, pilots, and presentations
Proven ability leading a team and ensuring accuracy of work
Proficiency in all phases of video production
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of initiative
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, with confidence to multi-task
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to work under deadline pressure
A desire to lead
Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet deadlines

The Pre-Production Senior Manager will report directly to the Director of Production.

Currently, the Pre-Production Senior Manager oversees the Pre-Production Team.
