We have a one-day shoot in a Greenscreen stage for NYC Get Out The Vote campaign. We'll be using virtual production levels 1-2 to film actors and do camera tracking. We're doing it as Covid-Safe as possible, PPE will be worn, a reduced crew size will be used, and physical distancing will be observed. We'll also be reducing team size by going as virtual as possible, including a virtual video village. We need a reliable, smart, problem-solving Production Manager to help run the show on the stage and help ensure we make our day. You should have several references we can speak with, plus tons of experience making things work with crews large and small. In addition to the shoot day you'll be paid for prep time.

Seeking Field Production Manager for a show shooting internationally this summer. This is a field position on an outdoor / adventure program shooting in remote parts of the world where we may find ourselves without phone or internet service, quick/easy access to food or water, or accommodations other than a tent. This is a fast-paced show with a lot of moving parts shooting 6-7 days per week some weeks, no fewer than 5 days other weeks.

Job Description includes but not limited to:
-Set Operations and Logistics
-Call Sheet and Production Report creation and distribution
-Petty cash and P Card reconciliation
-Managing Safety Officer / Medic to ensure safe set operations, Safety POAs including proper Risk Assessment and Management and Response Plans for each location where we're filming
-Working with travel coordinator to assist with travel coordination
-Wearing other hats as minimally needed on set, such as assisting with moving / setting up gear, helping with minimal props and wardrobe, etc.
-Working with catering company to ensure meal schedules, allergies, orders, etc.
-Working with crew to ensure department needs are met
-Assisting with work visas, carnets, and customs

Applicants must:
-have relevant work experience on a minimum of 2 shows in past 5 years with similar remote conditions
-have minimum of 5 years experience as Production Manager in unscripted television
-have worked with Risk Assessment companies and developed Safety Plans of Action for filming locations

Responsibilities:

Work with the EP to lead the production plan and the execution strategy of our mobile strategy games, from concept to launch and during live service
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resourcing needs
Partner with the creative vision holders of the game and the PM team to ensure that the game aligns with the product strategy and target play experience
Work closely with the game design and the PM teams to ensure that the game mechanics, storyline, and overall player experience are engaging and enjoyable
Lead cross-functional teams to keep execution on track, adjusting plans as needed; balance working efficiently, high-quality work, and worklife balance
Identify, track, and actively mitigate risks to the project goals or schedule
Manage product submissions and live operation requirements
Prioritize and distribute tasks, bugs, and cross-functional needs
Motivate the team, and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity

Qualifications:

7+ years working on mobile Free to Play games, with at least 2-3 shipped titles
Passionate about mobile Free to Play games and their development process
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written (word, powerpoint, etc.) and verbal
Excellent time management, coordination abilities, and work ethics.
Proven leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ready to be in the trenches to solve day to day issues with strong attention to detail
Must be collaborative and an effective negotiator, and a resourceful and creative problem solver
Flexible project management style and adaptable to changing circumstances in order to adjust the project approach to evolving requirements
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create project plans, manage resources, and coordinate multiple teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, leveraging project management software (JIRA, Trello, etc.)
Solid understanding of the technical aspects of mobile game development, including programming languages, development environments, and tools, including Agile, Lean, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.
Bachelor's Degree in Game Production, Product Management, or equivalent practical experience

Job Skills and Requirements:

Experience in managing crew, live events, and post edit processes
