Candidate should have a strong production background and understanding of pre-production, production and post-production workflow. - Using prior experience to produce digital series (scripted and non-scripted), sketches, network shoulder content amongst other formats

Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.

This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
Managing expenses, tracking budget and production accounting.
Post supervision. Coordinating between director and editorial on cuts, graphics, archival clearance, fair use, and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
Producing and Production Manager experience on documentary, narrative, digital media and/or television.
On set experience dealing with talent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Google Suite, and management level knowledge of post workflows and systems.
Experience with doc scripting and basic editing on Premiere Pro a plus.

Job Description

The Production Manager will serve as the organizational, technical, logistical lead for MS *** Digital and the MS *** video content team. The Production Manager organizes teams of writers, producers and editors who produce content all day.

Job Description

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate

Job Description

The Technical Manager provides support for *** News, MS *** , and digital. This role will be responsible for managing the crew and production team to execute shows, as well as day-to-day operations.

Oversee any or all *** Universal Studio and Control room production, assuring performance standards
Work closely with scheduling to ensure proper crew assignments
Work closely with *** Traffic Control, the Network News Desk and bookers to ensure successful execution of LIVE remotes into daily programming
Liaise with *** U operations & executive leadership

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in live, studio television production
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a News environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering support and operational experience in broadcast studio and production control room
Minimum of 1 year of experience with field/remote production processes and equipment (including satellite/telco and communications)
Must have proficient computer skills, including Apple, Outlook, MS Word, Excel
Experience in broadcast television
Strong on-air operations and technical background
Ability to work all shifts including days, overnights, weekends and holidays
Deep working knowledge with control room and studio technology
Demonstrated management experience and customer focused

Responsibilities
