We are looking for two strong Tri-state area production managers for a "Follow," reality show, shooting in New York City and surrounding suburbs, this summer.

Should be strong in the following areas. (Items will be split between 2 PMS who will over see two coordinators to delegate to as well.)

Creating and distro of daily call sheets and creating daily production reports
Location management of all field shoots (including permitting)
Over-see coodinators on transportation/Hotel /field logistics (Daily Crew Van assignments, airline,hotel and car rentals )
Responsible for Credit cards, PC and invoice management and reconciling of all PC and credit card field receipts.
Assist in tracking all costs over, all departments with LP and wrapping out costs with LP
Be on site for all shoots
Staff /crew payroll set up and processing and calculating of all electronic weekly crew time cards with LP
Track all crew /staff hires
Manage all Coordinators and PAs
Manage production office set up with Coordinators
Over-see safety /Production risk Incident reports and generate all COI docs
Oversee management of crew meals, craft service and catering that is set up by Coordinators and PAs
Consult with creative on over-all shoot scheduling and maintain calendar
Assist with and knowledge of Covid coordination.
Strong knowledge of crew rates and crew scheduling rules and crew management. with regard to over-time, short turn around, meal penalties,
Liason with Producers on Cast and Talent logistical and catering needs on site.
Assist Line Producer with hiring and negotiating rates for all Coordinator, PAs and tech crew positions.
Assst Line Producer with tracking of all talent payments
Assist Line Producer with tracking of all contract payments.

CAI produces videos as educational tools, shot in our New York City offices, and all over the country to support these capacity-building activities. We are seeking a Video Production Manager to help us keep up with the high-demand of video requests we are receiving from funders (e.g. CDC, HRSA, State Health Departments, etc.). GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Video Production Manager will work closely with a video production team (CAI’s video editing associate, project teams, communications team, external consultants), having the overall responsibility of managing/ coordinating all activities associated with the production of live videos from pre-production to post-production. This position requires someone who is highly organized and responsive with strong project management skills and attention to detail.

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with CAI staff to manage and coordinate all activities associated with the production of live videos across all projects at CAI, including:
• Maintaining ongoing oversight of the video development process, ensuring all components of video development (e.g. script development, selecting actors, securing filming locations, shooting schedules, day-of-filming, editing/post-production, graphics, etc.) follow CAI’s process and go through the appropriate staff for approval
• Coordinating, preparing, and managing video production meetings, including initial and regular follow-up meetings to discuss video development details (e.g. planning, next steps, roles/responsibilities, timelines, shooting schedules, budgets)
• Communicating with CAI staff, actors, voiceover artists, filming location contacts, and consultants regarding all video production activities to ensure that everyone on the team is informed on the status of different aspects of the video production process
• Working with project teams to provide leadership and guidance on selecting actors, voiceover artists, and filming locations
• Providing coordination and management of all video production logistics and activities on the day-of-filming, including supports such as the set up and break down of set and equipment
• Monitoring and tracking past and current consultants, actors, voiceover artists, filming locations, etc. used
• Tracking and processing video production invoices, ensuring that actors, voiceover artists, consultants, and other vendors associated with the film development get paid
• Supporting CAI staff with the development of other videos that may be required (e.g. pre-recorded Zoom video to be shown during a training)
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years proven experience managing the development of products, materials, and/or videos
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Zoom or other virtual meeting software

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Future is here! We are looking for a Freelance Technical Production Manager to join our *** News family. As the Freelance Technical Production Manager, you will manage relationships *** ween both Production's and Operation's internal group to troubleshoot and address technical workflow challenges and implement timely and effective resolutions. The Technical Production Manager has strong organizational and time management skills, has a broad understanding of all the key components of studio and control room environments, and can make difficult decisions under tight time constraints.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide front-line control room support for all technical personnel and work alongside satellite operations, editorial/production staff and other technical operations groups to solve production related issues
Coordinate studio crews and control room staff; schedule and handle production requests including the overall production budget
Handle any and all requests including acquisitions, *** , signal flow, satellites, and graphics processes
Deliver the highest quality of ser *** and maximum resource utilization
Plan for both large and small scale remote site projects (i.e. elections, full shows on the road)
Book crews, hotels, and travel arrangements
Order/ Rent equipment
Compile a list of technical gear needed, office space, talent requests, makeup, and anything else that production requires
Travel to/from remote sites, work on-site, and be the lead person for large and small-scale events
Work closely with producers and directors in planning programs and managing field, studio, and manpower scheduling to minimize costs to the customer and channel
Work closely with finance managers in preparation of show or facility budgets and expense reporting
Provide front-line management of staff, facilities, equipment, and technology for a customer-driven production operations group supporting News, Business, and Weather

**** YOU **** NEED

3+ years of experience as a Technical Production Manager in a fast-paced environment
Experience with iNews, AZ Edit, ScheduALL, Remote coordination, and Microsoft Excel
A broad understanding of all key components of studio and control room environments as well as working in the field on different size remote
Well versed in the operations of all control rooms and studio functions
Strong organizational skills, good time management skills, leadership capabilities, ability to make difficult decisions under time constraints, and an exceptional ability to stay calm under intense and constant pressure
Some travel will be required
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnights

Responsibilities

The Production Manager reports to the Director, Production Management and is responsible for forecasting, planning, and coordinating in-person and virtual production projects. Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

• Remote production management for network. Conduct sight surveys, vendor hiring, travel arrangements, assemble crew, and coordination with technical department. Must be available to travel with production team for surveys and remote shoots as needed.
• Support Events group with in-person and virtual production management related issues.

Liaise with legal for production-related questions and needs, such as Independent Contractor Agreements
Make sure productions obtain appropriate legal documentation (e.g. Certificates of Engagement, location agreements, etc)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in production management or line producer for a broadcast and/or cable network OR equivalent experience within a production company
• Prior experience with financial budgeting, forecasting and management of budgets
• Ability to execute on production plans
• Exhibits knowledge of production operations and planning
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Internet search engines
