Manager, Data & Targeting Ad Product

*** Discovery is looking for an enthusiastic, focused individual to help develop, execute and scale new ideas into incredible products that will drive our digital ad business forward across the Streaming, News, Entertainment, and Sports divisions. The Data & Targeting Ad Product Manager will lead the ideation, development, and sales enablement of data-driven targeting opportunities, combining WBD's reach, assets, and rich consumer data to create effective targeting solutions for brands.

We are looking for an experienced, innovative thinker with knowledge and passion for digital *** , storytelling and advertising trends. This position will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of targeting products across CTV, web, and mobile app.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consumer-first targeting and data insights capabilities in support of driving success for our advertising partners
• Leverage strong analytical skills and an inquisitive nature to identify, design and execute an iterative product development and optimization pipeline
• Ability to research consumer and advertiser trends to qualify product development decisions
• Define and analyze KPIs that inform the success of products and efficiency of operations
• Collaborate with Brand Product and Technology Teams on strategic and technical integration of ad products into their platforms
• Evangelize the value of WBD's data & targeting capabilities across our ad product suite internally and externally
• Partner cross functionally to define and optimize materials and processes to streamline the sale, execution, and maintenance of products
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to roadmap, track and manage projects to completion on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of digital *** , ad operations, or product management experience
• Familiarity with large datasets and AI / ML-driven optimization models and algorithms is a big plus, specifically within the digital and linear advertising ecosystem/domain
• Advanced expertise in Excel; and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc. is also a plus
• Experience with and knowledge of buy-side and/or sell-side advertising data, digital ad serving and automated buying technologies for segmentation, targeting and insights against advertising use cases
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data to back up product ideas & assumptions
• Experience setting up processes for project intake and monitoring of and reporting on product health and success
• Excellent communication skills and a proven collaborator; ability to work comfortably and successfully with technical and non-technical colleagues
• A strong bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development
• Proven ability to independently build relationships, i *** uence others and resolve challenges with internal & external teams
• Experience and demonstrated ability in understanding and discussing technical concepts and associated trade-offs, in a rapidly changing environment

Your New Role...

The App Programming Temp is responsible for finding engaging sports content for B/R's mobile app, website and communities. They are tasked with covering breaking news, sending push notifications, curating content for the largest audiences in the B/R app. They will also own projects, execute push notification plans and run event coverage around key NBA and *** tentpole events.

• Write push notifications about breaking news, viral moments in sports and sports culture

Meet Our Team

DTC's many software engineering teams build applications for the web, mobile, tablets, connected TVs, consoles, and other streaming devices. Every customer starts their wonderful journey into the world of WBD through DTC's Identity and Growth teams. We ensure customers can seamlessly authenticate and authorize across all WBD brands.

We are a fast-growing, global engineering group crucial to WBD's future. We are looking for an engineering manager who is passionate about solving complex engineering challenges by coaching, leading, and mentoring a team of engineers. This position will oversee a critical backend team responsible for managing shared user session context across front-end and backend services. Our services deliver tailored context according to specified policy engine, which can be adjusted per product per market. The policy may cover content ratings, languages, users' geography, consents and potentially other relevant areas.You and your team will be instrumental in scaling our services to a platformthat can efficiently onboard and bootstrap various products at minimal operational costs.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will lead a dedicated team to design and craft reusable and scalable platforms for different products in WBD.The team is currently based in US.

-Build and manage a team of high-performing engineers. Ensure retention through challenging professional opportunities and career growth prospects.

• You're driving and supporting teams' roadmaps to align seamlessly with the overarching long-term goals and vision of the team.
• You provide guidance on design, coding, and operational best practices, and have a track-record of applying these best practices to software by showing people, not just telling people.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across platform, back-end, and client engineering; program management; champion engineering excellence.
• Develop standards and toolset for efficient, cost effective, provisioning workflows.
• Identify and manage partner relationships internally and externally to ensure smooth integration into the WBD product delivery process.
• Ability to manage complexity and uncertainty associated with new product development.
• I *** uence and champion process, tools, operations, and technological improvements to operate global scale cloud-based platform services.
• Mentor other software development engineers throughout the organization, building the next generation of leaders.
• Build self-ser *** tooling to automate platform adoption of identity services for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience professionally in backend development, proficient in Java, with at least 3-5 years leading and managing software development teams.
• A record of building, scaling, and growing teams of 5+ engineers and ownership of an engineer-first software service/product.
• Strong technical understanding of Kubernetes-based microser *** architectures, messaging services, DB services, API gateways, ser *** mesh, and infrastructure-as-code technologies/processes.
• Experience in large volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, with a focus on quality, precision, and accuracy metrics.
• Ability to identify and operationalize workflows into a self-serve system with appropriate guardrails.
• Experience building and operating global-scale large platform services in prod environments.
• Experience establishing and improving data-driven infrastructure and ser *** KPIs such as performance, scale, availability, reliability, security.
• Experience working across cross-functional engineering teams as stakeholders and partners consuming a global platform service.
• Effective communication skills, good balance of empathy, leading by example, player-coach as needed, i *** uence and drive change.
• Demonstrated experience with building systems using agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).

Your New Role...

The Executive Assistant will provide a full range of administrative support to the VPof Content & Programming, VP of Ad Sales and Head of Comms and PR. This individual must be pro-active and able to prioritize, while managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar for the Executives. This individual must be able to effectively coordinate the Executive's schedule's and all other necessary parties, to ensure meetings and presentations are executed seamlessly.

• Extensive, proactive and complex diary and travel management, including setting up conference and video conferencing calls (over several time zones), as well as internal and external meetings

Como pasante de IT en *** Bros Discovery, desempears un papel fundamental en ayudar al departamento de IT a ofrecer servicios excepcionales a todas las unidades de negocio. Reportando directamente al Gerente del rea, esta pasanta ofrece una valiosa experiencia prctica en proporcionar soporte de IT a los usuarios finales.

Tareas diarias:

• Proporcionar soporte de IT a usuarios bajo la orientacin de profesionales de IT experimentados.
• Ayudar en la resolucin de problemas de hardware y software para garantizar el funcionamiento fluido de los sistemas de escritorio.
• Colaborar con el equipo de IT para abordar las preocupaciones de los usuarios y resolver problemas tcnicos de manera eficiente.

• Comprensin bsica de hardware, software y sistemas operativos de escritorio.

Tareas diarias:

• Anlisis y monitoreo de canales de televisin abierta y paga, as como eventos importantes, como partidos de ftbol, ceremonias de premiacin, etc.
• Creacin de plantillas con los aspectos ms destacados semanales y mensuales para nuestras marcas.
• Apoyo operativo en la creacin de estructuras, programacin de contenido y asignacin de calificaciones en el sistema de programacin.
• Monitoreo de plataformas de streaming y Producciones Originales Locales (LOP).
• Apoyo general con archivos internos (grillas, calificaciones, aspectos ms destacados).

Requisitos:

• Estar cursando activamente una licenciatura en Comunicacin u reas relacionadas.
• Dominio de Microsoft Office.
• Ingls bsico.
• Atencin al detalle y buenas habilidades organizativas.
• Pasin por la industria del cine y la televisin.
• Responsable, proactivo y creativo.
• • Ansias de aprender cada da.
