POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Social *** Producer has the primary responsibility of producing rich, relevant, and resonating social *** content for *** *** Group's scripted & unscripted linear shows, acquisitions, specials, tentpoles, digital and social originals, daily/thematic social content, and offline events like the House of *** .
The Social *** Producer is responsible for working with the Director of Social *** and in partnership with the Tentpole Lead and Branded Content Lead to ensure that robust and compelling social content plans - grounded in insights and innovation, with a focus on high-quality storytelling, sellable concepts and video, are created to promote network and digital initiatives. The Producer must develop ways to incorporate brand voice, show talent and network/digital initiatives into creatives that generates millions of engagements and watch time, and thus increase awareness and affinity for *** , VH1 and *** +.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and support the development of a mix of content, including archival, linear and original content, through videos, graphics, GIFS, meme's etc., customized by platform. Some on camera/voice over needed
• Write captions and support community management across all major social *** platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat
• Support strategy development to achieve against assignments and department goals of watch time, engagement, impressions, etc.
• Track, analyze and report performance, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Collaborate with the Branded Content Lead and Tentpole Lead to develop content opportunities in support of digital/social originals, linear scripted, tentpoles, etc.
• Co-produce and support concepts from pre-production through final delivery, including managing budget, timeline, restrictions, talent/i *** uencer selection and various stakeholder inputs (legal, talent, PR, etc.)
• Support editorial calendar plans and creation
• Support event coverage, both on the ground and remote.
• Bring a positive attitude, unique, creative vision, strong editorial voice, and deep passion for social *** and identifying new sources of content/talent as well as new formats for storytelling
• Stay up to date with the latest social *** best practices and technologies
• Strong collaborator
• Operate in an urgent, timely and agile manner
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Travel required
QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of creating/producing/editing social content at a *** publisher
• Excel at conceptualizing innovative ideas to tell highly engaging, fun, positive stories about music/AA/youth culture
• Ability to work independently
• A successful history in the digital and social *** landscape, including creating content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and other platforms, including branded and sponsored content
• Proficient with Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Canva or other tools
• Excellent writing skills, particularly for social ***
• Familiar with analytic tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout, Hootsuite, Google Analytics etc.
• Experience producing livestreams for social platforms.
• Experience developing creative concepts into long form and short form series and specials
• Experience creating behind the scenes content on Film & TV sets, interviewing actors and celebrity talent.
Educational Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in *** /Film/TV/Marketing, related field or equivalent professional experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 86,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
