Job Summary/Description: If you’re a successful LSM or DSM and ready to move to the next level, this is a fantastic opportunity to earn your GSM stripe. The ideal candidate should be results-driven with a history of achieving sales budgets on broadcast and digital platforms. We are focused on growing our local TV and digital revenue. You should have a strong business-focused mindset, great time management, and organizational skills that lead to good business decisions and problems.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for sales and creating a high-performance and successful sales team
- Understand the Southern Colorado market to create dynamic broadcast and digital sales initiatives
- Manage and price inventory, forecast revenue, and create sales reports
- Strong communication skills with good follow-through and work ethic
- Build relationships with clients and ad agencies
- Accompany team on sales calls
- Train and motivate both youthful and veteran staff
- Responsible for hitting yearly sales budgets
Qualifications/Requirements:- Organized with acute attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong computer skills, with experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix, and Microsoft Office products preferred
- Time management
- Acute negotiation and closing skills
- College Degree preferred
- Must meet the *** Television driving requirements and have a valid driver's license
