POSITION:
Head of Sales/Account Director

ROLE:
Falkon Kits is looking for a highly motivated, self-reliant and hungry sales executive versed in camera gear rentals for the production community across advertising, feature film and television. This position is responsible for driving the remote production kit rental business division of a high-end creative company working with world class brands, streaming networks, A-list talent and athletes across the content ecosystem. This is a ground floor opportunity in this new division with lots of growth potential as the division takes shape and grows over time.

The right candidate will be highly ambitious, personable, articulate, passionate and trustworthy. A personal taste for culture and a passion for sports is important. Confidence should be a natural part of their demeanor as well as a calm charm and a little swagger.

A minimum of two years experience working in camera rental sales is required. Ideally, you have serviced both the advertising and entertainment industries but we are open to someone focused on one or the other if they are the right person. Phone etiquette and inter-personal relationship skills are critical, as is a proven track record of results. A rolodex of clients is helpful and the ability to cold call far beyond the rolodex is important for success in this role. A passion for production, gear, tech, cameras and innovation in general is a huge plus and a big part of the product and service you will be selling.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop overall sales strategy
• Create marketing & sales materials
• Manage all outbound customer communication, cold calls and longstanding relationships
• Manage all incoming inquiries
• Process rental orders via phone and email (this will be a virtual process in the months that follow)
• Oversee and manage the processing of all kit rental orders - both deployment and return
• Oversee QC of gear upon return for lost or damaged items

COMPENSATION:
Compensation would be a combination of salary, commission and an attractive health package.
