The Director of Content Services works closely with their team to guide and improve operational aspects for new market, platform, and feature releases for *** + globally. This role defines internal processes, implements new tools and workflows, builds, and maintains documentation, and provides project updates to collaborators and senior executives. This role must think in the short and long term to ensure scalability, while keeping up with fast-paced development cycles.
Viewed as a key resource to raise problems and propose viable solutions, they work closely with global teams across *** +. The director serves as the subject matter expert for our owned-and-operated products across all platforms. This role balances priorities, including platform expansion, content curation and merchandising, personalization, VOD and live streaming and monetization initiatives. To be successful the director must cultivate strong working relationships across the organization's product development, content systems product, engineering, project management, curation, and global operations teams.
While this is a daytime job, we occasionally need coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays. We are looking for a candidate local to one of our offices in New York City, Los Angeles, or Miami.
Qualifications - 8+ years' experience in an operations management, product management, or similar role managing streaming platform initiatives at a major *** company
- Can multitask and lead all aspects of numerous projects, while managing expectations
- Strong understanding of content management systems
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and other methodologies, including traditional waterfall approaches
Preferred Skills - Working knowledge of Jira and Co *** uence
- Bachelor's degree

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 161,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
