Senior Producer

The Senior Producer is responsible for overseeing, managing and owning projects internally from inception through execution and delivery. The Senior Producer will oversee the team’s related workflow, resource planning, production scheduling, budgets, productivity, and development.

This role reports directly to the Head of Production and works in close collaboration with the Head of Content based in Los Angeles, CA. The Producer will work with the team to deliver each piece of content on time and to the level of quality that Hoonigan is known for, consistent with the company’s priorities, brand, and storytelling ethos. This person will plan and supervise the production schedule, appropriate bandwidth, prioritization for all current and upcoming projects while maintaining clarity of information and good channels of communication.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
•Manage workflow and workload of the freelance production team
•Track projects in every stage: Pre-production, Production, Post, Wrap. Having a general knowledge of what is in the works at all times
•Track active productions and current budget actuals
• Responsible for completion of contracts, permissions, permits, COI’s, and risk assessments
•Manage and hire crew members for new productions
•Create and manage production schedule and calendars
•Ensure production runs according to schedule and within budget
•Manage internal process at every stage of production, this includes securing all necessary internal approvals required to move the work forward
•Manage milestones associated with every project to ensure that the work stays on schedule
•Maintain all living documentation/tools through the project lifecycle including schedules, resource and budget management tools
•Ensure that status and current state of projects is effectively communicated to teams on a daily basis.
•Mentor, assist, and help grow associate producers, production coordinators and production assistants within the department
•Provide daily and weekly reports on status of current and future projects to HOP
•Strong communication and collaboration with Hoonigan’s Head of Content and Head of Production ensure there is transparency and a smooth workflow

Key Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years Production experience preferably as a Production Manager, Line Producer, Bidding Producer &/ or Field Producer.
•Understanding of AICP guidelines
•Have and maintain a large network of high-quality crew, vendor, and global production service partners
•Basic technical knowledge of various systems (Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud).
•Ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting demands/deadlines
•Ability to pivot and adapt when problems and changes happen. Focuses on the solution rather the problem
•Must have a flexible and adaptable skillset, able to see the big picture while working with executives and in house production & accounting team
•Able to use good sense and manage their time efficiently
•Ability to manage both large and small scale productions with the same level of attention
•Ability to communicate clearly, prioritize tasks and work under pressure
•On-set problem solving ability is essential
•Must be committed to creating a supportive and positive work environment
•Highly organized and reliable with excellent attention to detail
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Must demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with co-workers, executives, directors, etc.
