Job Summary/Description:

A Broadcast Engineer is responsible for day-to day hands-on maintenance of the technical infrastructure supporting all live and recorded programming and post-production at ****. Performs quality control measurements to ensure proper video and audio quality is maintained for broadcast and assist local production team needs. Duties include troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing studio and editing equipment. The Engineer interacts daily with production staff and will be responsible for following all **** and FCC standards and guidelines. Must be able to think on their feet, work well with others, be a self-starter, and be a team player focused on quality customer ser *** for internal employees.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Support engineering aspects of the technical facility including studio support, post-editing systems, field production support, and transmission of live/recorded events & programs
• Know broadcast equipment, technology, and systems and be able to step in and assist in emergency situations
• Performs regular maintenance tasks including repairs, equipment replacement, supplies, etc.
• Documents and executes necessary corrective actions
• Ensures all equipment is operating correctly before and during live event telecasts – corrects and documents technical problems
• Assist with implementing Engineering projects
• Maintains building needs
• Have a working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including server and desktop operating systems
• Familiar with networking and IP addressing
• Must be available to work during breaking news situations, severe weather, new system integrations and updates
• Display and maintain a professional appearance, based on station standards and a professional demeanor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2-3 years of professional or broadcast experience preferred
• A Bachelor’s Degree or similar certification is preferred but, is not required
• Previous working experience in engineering is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to operate in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of professional video photography equipment and techniques
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to all work situations

The Role

• Experience with IP-based and virtualized workflows and modern broadcast core technologies such as ST-2110 and NMOS, PTP, JPEG-XS, UHD and HDR workflows, SRT, AVC/HEVC, and Zixi.
• Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals, ability to support, maintain & troubleshoot IP-based 2110 workflows and consult on network design.
• Understanding of nuances of remote production and the on-site technical operation.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with end users, process and product owners, developers, systems engineers, technical and non-technical internal and external partners, and various levels of management including executives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent multi-quarter projects from inception to the first day of business, including managing third-party vendors.

Cross-functional thought leadership with senior leaders in creative, marketing strategy, analytics, and production to drive directional team alignment, innovation, and testing.
• Responsible for overall team financials: staff planning, and other operational functions. Through collaboration and coordination, manage scope, budget, and overall print production regional resources.
• Liaise: with internal and external partners to provide functional guidance and industry best practices on art and print campaign collateral.
• Art Finishing: Design, implement, and manage the ecosystem that delivers the finishing, production, localization, and servicing of design assets (key art, print adaptations, OOH, digital OOH), ensuring brand, layout, and specs for our marketing and communications teams through high-end expertise, ensure the quality of the final art to its best level.
• Out-Of-Home Adaptations: High-quality and scale Lead, design, implement and operate the ecosystem that brings high-quality scale to the adaptations in LATAM. This includes the management and development of key partnerships, vendors, and suppliers throughout the region. Responsible for the final deliveries in time and manner as well as the quality control of the whole process.

Experience & Skills:

• 10+ of Print Production and/or Project Management experience, with an emphasis on marketing deliverables with distribution across LATAM - Full understanding of what is needed to produce and adapt print materials at scale as well as print models, materials, challenges, and demands in LATAM.
• 7+ years of team management experience, with direct report Producers and/or Project Managers. Experience in organizational design within these roles is preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume programs in parallel, collaborating with diverse, geographically dispersed teams to deliver marketing materials.
• Experience developing and rolling out solutions to reduce complexity, level of effort, and/or costs for your organization. Experience working with business analysts or analytics teams to measure operational metrics for forward-looking organizational planning.
• Technical experience that brings an understanding of the art and print process and the tools to make this happen (Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
• Art & Design: Previous experience in the finishing process, understanding its key milestones and challenges.
• Spanish & English fluency are required (Portuguese is a plus).

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our UK Marketing Operations & Production team, overseeing title-level campaign production, creative operations and project management across our UK content slate. Marketing Operations & Production brings creative ideas to life while partnering closely with Marketing, Communications and Product groups at *** to connect our stories with millions of people worldwide.

The Role

The role will oversee project management across our marketing campaigns for films, series and brand. This role will require exceptional communication, organisation and production expertise, with the ability to navigate multiple tools and complex workflows whilst maintaining operational best practices for campaign production for the business.

The ideal candidate will be a nimble, solutions-oriented, project management expert, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with in-house producers in Video and Art & Print, as well as external production agencies, to manage *** 's production and operational campaign needs. You will serve as the connective point to all cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating alignment *** ween global and local teams dedicated to creative, localisation, *** , marketing, publicity, events and social.

You will be an accomplished creative Production Manager with a strong background in *** Production. Project management experience in Film and/or TV marketing campaigns either client-side or at an agency is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a slate of *** UK titles managing the end-to-end campaign operational scope including: campaign production timelines, asset planning and production, budgets, deliverables and campaign resources. Ensuring a regular flow of information *** ween all cross-functional partners in the UK, EMEA and globally.
• Partner with a team of marketing managers, *** strategists and integrated producers responsible for managing production, localisation, and trafficking of key promotional materials. Driving and enabling production excellence and innovation across channels including social, digital, OOH and experiential.
• Manage the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, including online and offline video, out of home, print, digital display, TV, cinema, radio and social advertising.
• Lead status updates on project timelines and budgets. Identify and troubleshoot any anticipated production challenges.
• Partner with marketing managers to provide production guidance and best practise ad *** for the creation and execution of stunts and activations linked to the promotion of our titles.
• Uses judgement and data to inform best production practices and to ensure that we eliminate time-sensitive bottlenecks and produce high-quality creative with appropriate velocity & accuracy.
• Nurture and maintain a network of best-in market vendors (production agencies & freelancers).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of marketing production/project management and creative production experience at an entertainment brand, advertising or *** agency - within the entertainment industry.
• Proven track record of managing large cross functional teams through successful marketing campaigns.
• Expert knowledge of marketing campaign and localisation workflows, deeply understanding the creative and production process for videos (trailers, TV spots, paid social creative, etc), Print/OOH & digital materials.
• Fluent in Video, Print & Digital types and formats, whilst understanding the fundamentals of asset management, servicing and ad trafficking.
• High competency and proven track record of project management for high profile local and global campaigns.
• Knowledgeable of ever-evolving advertising and *** landscape.
• Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel, while working with geographically dispersed teams.
