Job Description *** 4 Los Angeles' advertising and promotion department is passionate, dedicated and persistent in supporting *** 4 and *** 52 in becoming Southern California's top news stations. We are looking for an individual to join the team who is inspired by the creative process, yet as competitive and fearless as the journalists they work with.
The Creative Services Producer will report to the Senior Manager, *** 4 Creative. The position plays a critical role in the success of *** 4 and *** 52 by developing the brand identity for our award-winning news team. We work closely with leaders throughout the newsroom and station to weave our brand into everything we do. We bring our daily topicals, image campaigns, proof of performance spots and PSAs to life through creative, compelling, and engaging promotion.
Responsibilities
Conceive, write, produce, shoot and edit on-air and digital promotional spots and marketing campaigns for *** 4 and *** 52 News, FAST Channels, Community events and digital properties.
Partner with all the departments across *** 4 and *** 52 to create compelling promotion such as topical, PSAs, image, and franchise campaigns to execute the strategic goals of the station.
Collaborate with the *** 4 Creative Senior Promotion Manager, graphic artists and the overall creative team.
Ensure that assigned projects meet their assigned budget and are delivered on time.
Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all production team members.
Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines.
Attend weekly planning/production meetings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 3 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/shooter/editor for a cable network or local station.
Minimum 4 years' experience working in a news environment.
Minimum of 2 years' experience shooting on Canon C300, C700 and/or Canon R5C.
Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge of promo editorial process from beginning to end.
