**Job Description:**
As a Sound Designer for our short film project, you will be responsible for shaping the auditory landscape of the film. Your role will be critical in enhancing the storytelling, mood, and emotional impact of the film. This is a hands-on position that will require creativity, technical expertise, and a keen ear for detail.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate closely with the director and production team to understand the creative vision and sound requirements of the film.
- Design, edit, and mix sound effects, dialogue, and music to create a compelling and immersive audio experience.
- Create and manipulate sound elements to evoke emotions and enhance storytelling.
- Ensure high-quality audio production standards and consistency throughout the film.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve any audio-related issues that may arise during post-production.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Sound Designer in film
- Proficiency in industry-standard audio editing and mixing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, etc.).
- Strong understanding of sound design principles and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous sound design work in film is highly desired.
- Passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the role of sound in filmmaking.
