1 day shoot to record an interview with 1 or more doctors, and sound during a surgical procedure (you'll be in the OR....if you're squeamish, please don't apply).

A2 Audio Engineer

We are looking for A2 Audio Engineers to expand our audio department on larger productions. The A2 Engineer will build detailed mixes for our performers, and, on occasion, a small in-person audience. The A2 should therefore have a solid understanding of commonly used:

audio sources (instruments, vocals, processors),
capture devices (dynamic mics, condenser mics, DI boxes)
processing tools (EQ, compression, gating, reverb, delay)
playback devices (amplifiers, speakers, headphones)
signal routing methods (aux sends, digital patching)
Responsibilities include:

Ability to quickly patch audio and power cables, leaving a clean and aesthetically pleasing stage footprint.
Having a basic understanding of commonly used audio sources (microphones, direct inputs) and connector types (XLR, ¼”, ⅛”, RCA, Speakon, CAT)
Having a basic understanding of commonly used audio processing tools [EQ, compression, reverb, delay]
Digital console (Allen & Heath SQ series) operation. Remote mixing via iOS MixPad App (iPad provided.)
Communicating effectively with the Broadcast Audio Engineer and Production Manager during rehearsals and live broadcast.
Creating monitor mixes for performers, adjusting them as requested.
Post-show, striking the stage according to LiveBash protocols
Optimal candidates for the A2 engineer position:

recent audio training program graduates
applicants with experience in other realms of audio (studio recording, location sound) interested in gaining live sound / broadcast experience.

Broadcast Audio Engineer

We are looking for Broadcast Audio Engineers to run the audio end of our operation within a pre-built framework.

As the intermediary between performers and our virtual audience, the Broadcast Audio Engineer should possess an excellent understanding of live sound. This includes knowledge of commonly-used

audio sources (instruments, vocals, processors),
capture devices (dynamic mics, condenser mics, DI boxes)
processing tools (EQ, compression, gating, reverb, delay)
playback methods (amplifiers, speakers, headphones)
Responsibilities for the Broadcast Audio Engineer include:

Creating I/O patch sheets, based on artist intake forms.
Constructing a balanced broadcast mix that consistently stays within streaming loudness standards (-14LUFS.)
Digital console (Allen & Heath SQ5) signal routing - sending aux and matrix mixes to the video department and throughout the building.
On smaller shoots where no A2 Engineer is present, creating and managing performer monitor mixes.
On smaller shoots where no A2 Engineer is present, setting up a simple FOH mix for studio guests.
Operating and troubleshooting a limited number of wireless microphones. [Shure QLX-D.]
Communicating effectively with the A2 Engineer and Production Manager during rehearsals and live broadcast.
Learning and executing Live Bash strike protocols.

A 1-2 day documentary shoot for a California based organization called Hope the Mission. The documentary will follow the founders on their 3500 mile bike ride across the country to raise awareness and funds to combat the homeless crisis!

The shoot will be a half day from approximately 2pm-6pm with a series of straight forward interviews and b roll with individuals, service providers and elected officials.

The job is for a charitable organization so everyone that is engaged on the project are all making the same day rate.

Applicant to submit Deal Memo and W-9 and Invoice. Payment schedules are the 1st and 15th of each month.
The organization can also offer a tax write-off.

We are looking for a solid Sound Mixer to join our team April 25th - 28th for season 3 of a true crime series for Oxygen.

Filming will consist of sit-down interviews. Audio files will be uploaded immediately after the interview wraps for transcription, as well as offloaded to the physical drive. We will be shooting on two Sony FS7s or comparable Sony cameras - Exact cameras TBC. A Post Bible will be provided upon hire.

Jupiter Entertainment seeks an experienced Sound Mixer as local as possible to Toledo, OH to join us on American Detective 4/22-4/25. Applicants from surrounding areas are encouraged as well!

You will be joined by a small crew consisting of a Field Producer, Associate Producer, DP and PA. A team-oriented attitude is a must!

We are filming a sports documentary series for a major sports association that will air on ESPN.

We are looking for a Sound Mixer for a field shoot happening in the Chicago area on 4/17.

The series is a typical documentary series, featuring: run and gun components, sit-down interviews, on-the-fly interviews, scenics, and "hero/portrait" shots.

Looking for a sound mixer who could either boom or set up a lav and capture audio of the host speaking to camera. 4-6 hours of work. Date hasn't been set yet. Looking at late April.

Looking for a seasoned TV sound mixer who is experienced working with the Sound Device 888 mixer/recorder. For single subject sit down interviews in a closed indoor space. This is a new series for Investigation ID and may contain sensitive case information. Bonus points if you have previous experience with True Crime or Docu Series shows.
