SHOW DESCRIPTION

In Depth with Graham Bensinger averages 3 million television viewers/episode and 2.5 million digital views/episode airing weekly across the U.S. on the local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX stations. It re-airs on NBC Regional Sports Networks and FOX Sports Nets, YouTube, ESPN in Australia/Latin America/Caribbean, BT Sport in Ireland/UK and TSN in Canada. Recent episodes range from a few days in Serbia with tennis star Novak Djokovic, to a trip to Texas for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, to visiting Hong Kong with Arnold Schwarzenegger, to traveling to Monaco with Prince Albert, to the week in the Bahamas with Sir Richard Branson.

POSITION SUMMARY

- We film on Canon 5D Mark IVs.
- We record at 48000 khz, 24 bit, shoot at 29.97 drop-fps and do not require timecode jamming.
- Audio must be recorded to separate tracks - we have to be able to split audio. Mixdowns and backup tracks are welcome but no mixdown as primary track.
- Hops are not necessary but welcome if no additional cost.
- Minimum of (1) IFB required for the producer to monitor audio.
- At least two subjects, no more than four, requiring wireless lavalier microphones throughout the interview and following activities.
- Booming additional subjects and activities will be required.
-Mic redundancies required for sit-down interviews when there are 2 subjects (aka 2 lavs and 2 booms).
- We will provide an SD, CF card or both for each day we film and then collect upon wrapping.


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties
- Ability to work under stressful and extreme conditions, as well as quickly adapt to last-minute schedule changes
- Be teachable and willing to learn new workflows
- Ability to work under strict deadlines

This is a fairly simply job as a tech person for a solo show stage reading taking place on Sat 12-16-23. It's entitled Laughing Through the Pain - the life journey of comedian and actor Joey Camen - his time starting at the Comedy Store in the 70s as one of the youngest standup comics ever, working with Richard Pryor and other famous names to growing up in black neighborhoods in Detroit and beyond. It's a decades long journey of laughter and pain. And it is fun.

Your time running lights and sound and multimedia would be as follows:
Thursday 12-14-23 from 12PM to 3PM - tech - 3 hours
Friday 12-15-23 from 12PM to 3PM - tech & run through - 3 hours
Saturday 12-16-23 2pm to 6PM - The Show with audience. (will only be needed 2-3 hours tops)

There are about 30 pictures to project onscreen, two short videos and several music cues.

Non-union crime docuseries is looking for an audio mixer with their own gear for a 1-day (possibly a second-day) interview shoot in the Greensboro, NC area. The shoot date is Saturday 12/9 (and maybe Sunday 12/10).

You must be local or can work as a local in Greensboro. Production will NOT put you up, provide mileage, or pay your tolls. This shoot is all interviews. Simple straightforward shoot. Small all-hands-on-deck type crew. The interviews will be primarily filmed in hotel conference rooms and Airbnbs.
