We are currently searching for an Audio Engineer for our client, a premier global telecommunications partner in Dallas, TX.
This is a part-time, temporary role on an as-needed basis.
About the opportunity:
The Audio Engineer will work mostly in the studio control rooms and ENG remote shoots.
Responsibilities:
Executes complete audio mixing for live and taped broadcasts, in the context of originally produced programs and public service announcements that will meet the standards of the Company brand and its loyal subscribers and viewers.
Collaboration with a production crew that produces regular, special live and taped shows related to various audiences deemed appropriate by the Company brand.
Troubleshoots audio issues by teaming up with Engineering.
Qualifications:
Candidate must exhibit proven success with organizational skills and development of a variety of media products (for both live and taped applications).
Experience using various audio equipment for live and studio-based environments.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups, and effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of current technologies appropriate to the position's job responsibilities.
Ability to lift/carry 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds; some physical activity required.
Education & certification requirements:
Associates degree in audio, broadcasting, or related field – OR – Two (2) or more years of successful experience mixing audio and running a board in television news or sports, studio-based programming or similarly related professional media production and media presentation.
