This person will be working on the set where we will be shooting a meeting that takes place in a conference room, they will be responsible for capturing all of the sounds and the dialogue for these scenes. Equipment should be current and the sound mixer must be friendly, have a good attitude and aim for excellence.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sound Mixer to join our production team for an ENG shoot. As a Sound Mixer, you will be responsible for recording high-quality audio on location during the shoot.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate audio equipment for ENG shoots
- Collaborate with the producers and camera crew to ensure the highest quality audio
- Select and place microphones on talent, and adjust levels to achieve optimal sound quality
- Monitor audio throughout the shoot to ensure consistent levels and quality
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the shoot
- Record and label all audio files
- Communicate with the post-production team to ensure all audio files are delivered in the proper format and on time
- Maintain and organize all audio equipment

Requirements:

- 4-5 yrs experience as a Sound Mixer
- Knowledge of different types of microphones, recording equipment, software and their applications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shoot location

We're an LA based company shooting a short docu-follow/house reality series in Nashville. The shoot will be contained to one location for the entire shoot. We have two crews (AM/PM) covering a max of 10 cast members at a given time. Depending on the day, we'll have 1-2 mixers per crew.

Ideal candidates will have previous reality experience and an audio package (for additional rental) that can support a minimum of 6 on camera cast at a time.
