We're filming a new reality competition series for YouTube gathering 18 popular youtube influencers to compete and team up in a survivor like show, filming in Castaic, CA, a few miles north of Santa Clarita. I am looking for sound mixers to work along side 5 other mixers filming challenges, gameplay, interviews, host stand ups and scenics.
In total we will have 6 mixers on days 1 and 2, release 2 mixer for day 3 with only 2x mixers needed for the final day of filming.
Camera package and lenses will be provided by the production shooting on either the Canon C300, C100 or Sony Fs7.
Kits must include:
3x wireless lavs
1x boom
4- channel mixer/recorders
timecode locit box or TC in/out capable mixer for syncing to camera throughout the day
Each camera operator will be teamed up with a sound mixer and will be syncing TC + handing off media to a onsite DIT
Episodes: 12x over 4 days (3 episodes per day)
Location: 30910 Sloan Canyon Rd Castaic, CA (youth activity camp)
Hours 12/hrs per day + possible OT
Filming dates: Nov 4th - Nov 7th (4-days)
Rate: $350 per 12/hrs +$150 Kit = $500 all inclusive rate per shoot day
