Looking for an experienced Sound Mixer for a public television food series we are filming in Michigan on June 30, July 1st & July 2nd. We'll be filming with various food cultivators and chefs around the state (with driving between segments), so must have reliable vehicle.
On June 30th, we'll be filming in the Detroit Area, and on July 1st and 2nd, we'll be filming in the Traverse City Area.
Assuming applicant is based in Detroit, mileage to and from Traverse City will be provided, along with lodging and per diem for July 1st and 2nd. A $400 travel stipend will also be offered for the return drive on July 3rd.
We'll be capturing interviews, b-roll and walk and talks using 3x C70s. Kit must included tentacles to sync up the time code (3 total, 1 per camera), personal mixing/recording gear, a boom mic/pole, 1 IFB and 3 lavs. The rest of the crew will be traveling in, so you may also be asked to help us secure a couple of c-stands and sand bags for the camera team.
Rate is $800/12 Hours, with OT after 12 @ 2x. $400 kit rental/day. Please apply if interested, and I will follow up with additional details. Thank you!
