We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Technician for an upcoming video shoot at a prestigious golf event in Philadelphia. The project involves an interview setup where pristine audio capture is essential.
The daily rate of $1000 for the Audio Technician role is commensurate with the high level of professional expertise and technical knowledge required for managing audio at a prestigious, specialized golf event in Philadelphia. The technician has multifaceted responsibilities, including operating and managing equipment, conducting sound checks, and resolving technical issues, demanding a meticulous and detail-oriented approach to ensure the capture of pristine audio. The requirement for the technician to provide their own professional-grade equipment, potentially involving travel, and the one-day nature of the event, also contribute to the rate. This rate aligns with industry standards, reflecting the value of the comprehensive services, expertise, and equipment provided to ensure the event’s success.
Responsibilities:
-Operate and manage audio equipment during live interviews and throughout the event
-Coordinate with the video team to ensure seamless integration of audio and visual components
-Conduct soundchecks and resolve any technical issues promptly
-Monitor audio levels and make adjustments as needed to maintain high-quality sound
Requirements:
-Proven experience as an Audio Technician
-Must have own audio equipment including a boom, recorder, and wireless microphones
-Knowledge of audio signal flow and ability to troubleshoot audio systems
-Familiarity with professional audio processing tools and software
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Available to work on October 9th in Philadelphia
