1-Day Documentary Shoot

Interior interviews and some verite. Must have gear. Looking for some IFB's for the client as well.

Indie feature film is seeking a SOUND MIXER for a 1 day shoot in Littleton, CO. Applicants must own the usual sound package needed to capture both boom and lav audio of 3 actors and must provide a gear list. Application should be able to provide a resume with past work in this position. Mixer must be prepared to boom op as well. This is a fairly straight forward "reality" style shoot with only 3 actors. In-depth understanding of sound gear, the ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly, and resourcefulness is a must.

On top of the usual technical expectations that come with the job, we value crew members with positive attitudes, zero ego and a good sense of humor can't hurt. Crew will be expected to self report to set, on set meals will be provided.

In search of a Sound Mixer in the Fresno and Bakersfield area.

Need someone who can work local to the area for one on one sit down interviews for an iD tru-crime series.

Rate: $600 all-in. 2 Shoot Days, will run about 8 - 10hrs.

Would need a mixer, boom, and lav for the interviews. Running sound into camera, C-300, no wireless. We would also need .mp3’s with a time code channel for transcriptions uploaded to our FTP at the end of the day.
