Brentwood Lower School, an independent K-5 Elementary School in Los Angeles, is looking for a Sound Technician who can operate the Soundcraft Si Expressions 3, 18 mics, and Qlab for sound and video cues for student musical performances. Assistance in placing Countryman E6 and E2 mics on elementary students is needed. 

Job hours will run on a mixed schedule, which we will share, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am-3:00 pm. The start date will be 5/2, and this job will run for approximately 4 weeks. Please only apply if you have experience in live theater.

We are looking for a skeleton crew to help out with a seven minute short film project. Filming will take place in Los Angeles,CA on site at two filming locations .I have access to some equipment and lighting but will rent what is needed. As well we will provide breakfast, lunch and snack.

This person will be working on the set where we will be shooting a meeting that takes place in a conference room, they will be responsible for capturing all of the sounds and the dialogue for these scenes. Equipment should be current and the sound mixer must be friendly, have a good attitude and aim for excellence.

We are looking for an experienced Sound Mixer to join our production team for an ENG shoot. As a Sound Mixer, you will be responsible for recording high-quality audio on location during the shoot.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate audio equipment for ENG shoots
- Collaborate with the producers and camera crew to ensure the highest quality audio
- Select and place microphones on talent, and adjust levels to achieve optimal sound quality
- Monitor audio throughout the shoot to ensure consistent levels and quality
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the shoot
- Record and label all audio files
- Communicate with the post-production team to ensure all audio files are delivered in the proper format and on time
- Maintain and organize all audio equipment

Requirements:

- 4-5 yrs experience as a Sound Mixer
- Knowledge of different types of microphones, recording equipment, software and their applications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shoot location

We're an LA based company shooting a short docu-follow/house reality series in Nashville. The shoot will be contained to one location for the entire shoot. We have two crews (AM/PM) covering a max of 10 cast members at a given time. Depending on the day, we'll have 1-2 mixers per crew.

Ideal candidates will have previous reality experience and an audio package (for additional rental) that can support a minimum of 6 on camera cast at a time.

We are looking for an experienced Sound Mixer for a 3 day travel/tourism shoot in Myrtle Beach. Ideal candidates must be local or willing to work as a local, but we can provide lodging during the 3 shoot days if needed.

Rate is 550/day plus a 250/day kit fee.

Shoot is mostly outdoors. We are looking for someone who is a maestro at getting good clean audio in uncontrolled situations. This is a small 4-5 person crew with 2 videographers, 1 producer, and yourself.
