We're looking for a sound mixer for an upcoming non-union shoot in Baltimore on May 8. This is corporate shoot where we will be filming a number of people reading off a teleprompter. Only one person will be on camera at a time. You must be able to work as a local and provide your own transportation to and from set. Please include relevant experience and equipment list/rates. Looking for an experienced Sound Mixer for a public television food series we are filming in the Toledo area on May 22nd and 23rd. Depending on your proximity to our locations, mileage will be provided. (All locations are within an approximately 1 hour drive of Toledo.)

We'll be capturing interviews, b-roll and walk and talks using 2x C70s & 1 R5C. Kit must included tentacles to sync up the time code (1 per camera), personal mixing/recording gear, a boom mic/pole and 3 lavs. The rest of the crew will be traveling in, so bonus points if you are able to help us secure a c-stand and some sand bags.

Rate is $800/12 Hours, with OT after 12 @ 2x. $400 kit rental. Please apply if interested, and I will follow up with additional details. (Please note: This shoot will include filming on a boat (we'll be fishing with a licensed charter captain), so must be comfortable on water.) Thank you!

Important to note that we are often filming gaming competitions, so are looking for someone who is experienced working in these fast paced environments and mic’ing multiple subjects with ease. Definitely need someone who is calm under pressure.

Ideal candidate will have their own equipment, 788T with minimum of 5 open tracks and a boom.

Essential responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Film verite’ and a variety of sit down and on the fly interviews
Basic Requirements:
* 5+ years of filming experience required
* Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours
* Must be able to pick up and carry at least 50lbs
* Must be 18 years or older
* Must be okay working 12 hour day
* Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record (we cover local mileage reimbursement, but do not cover travel or accommodations). 
Additional Requirements:
* Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from a designated worksite outside of Houston.
Pay Range: $42-51/hour. Will also pay a gear rental fee of $300/day.

A sound mixer for a micro budget web show shooting entirely indoors.

Looking for a sound mixer for a true crime series shooting in Rockford, IL. Hotels can be provided from Chicago for overnights on consecutive shoot days.

Main shoot set up is a 2 camera talking head interview, we shoot about 2 sit down interviews a day. Sometimes we will also shoot OTF interviews/walk and talks.

Gear requirements are 2x lav mics (for the occasional 2 head interview) and a boom for the interviews. We will not need comteks.

Shoot is 5/13-5/18, will be 5 days. Dates still slightly in flux.

Rate is $600/12 + $400 for gear.
