We are filming a live stream of 8 panelists on a sound stage in Culver City. We need a live event sound vendor to mic all 8 panelists, provide PA's for the live audience of 100 people, and run audio to a mixer board which will feed into our live stream video board.

3-day shoot in Silverlake/Echo Park.

$350 per day for a guaranteed 12 hours. This rate breaks down as $25.00/hr for 8 hours, and $37.50/hr for 4 hours. Any overtime accrued will be calculated at $50.00 per hour, in 6 minute increments, using military time (ie, 8:30a is 8.5). Please note that lunch will last at least one half hour, and is not included as part of the 12 hour day.

10 day job happening sometime in February for a reality show. You will be working with at least 2 other sound mixers.

Please give day rate which would include your kit rate. Housing (with your own room of course) is provided for the ten days regardless where you live in LA, but you can commute if you want.

This is a fairly simply job as a tech person for a solo show stage reading taking place on Sat 12-16-23. It's entitled Laughing Through the Pain - the life journey of comedian and actor Joey Camen - his time starting at the Comedy Store in the 70s as one of the youngest standup comics ever, working with Richard Pryor and other famous names to growing up in black neighborhoods in Detroit and beyond. It's a decades long journey of laughter and pain. And it is fun.

Your time running lights and sound and multimedia would be as follows:
Thursday 12-14-23 from 12PM to 3PM - tech - 3 hours
Friday 12-15-23 from 12PM to 3PM - tech & run through - 3 hours
Saturday 12-16-23 2pm to 6PM - The Show with audience. (will only be needed 2-3 hours tops)

There are about 30 pictures to project onscreen, two short videos and several music cues.

As a Sound Designer for our short film project, you will be responsible for shaping the auditory landscape of the film. - Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous sound design work in film is highly desired.
- Passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the role of sound in filmmaking.

While editing, we’ve used mostly vintage optical sound fx to retain the analog sound.
