We are looking for a Production Recorder & Boom Operator for our short film, “A Hidden Man,” written and directed by Gary Morra and being shot by Ryan Nocella.

"A Hidden Man" is a dark comedy where everybody has something to hide. Taking place at a gas station in rural America, two menacing men make a pit stop with something surprising in tow – but they aren’t the only ones with a secret.

We need a Production Recorder has equipment (recorder, shotgun mic, couple of lavs), and can mix and boom op.

Production will take place at the Flat Rock Country Store in Mckenney, VA on August 27th and August 28th. Food and lodging will be provided, and travel reimbursed (feel free to commute from home each day if you prefer and the drive isn't too bad!)

We are producing a pilot for a reality-docu-series focused within the health and fitness world. We are looking for a local non-union Sound Recordist with equipment to join our team in the greater Boston area 08/26, 08/27, 08/28

We are definitely shooting 2 consecutive days, and may need a 3rd day for pick up interviews (TBD ASAP)

This will be a very straightforward approach - some sit down interviews, some walk and talk moments, some verite OTF moments, and some candid fly on the wall stuff. 2 cams (Sony FX6 or similar)

Equipment wise, we need someone with a package that would include: boom, shotgun mic, 2x lavs, mixer/recorder unit, and time code sync.

We have a flat rate of $750/Day/12hr for this role including equipment.

Looking for local Sound Mixer with Gear for a one day shoot. We'll be in two locations: Potomac and Rockville, MD. Day starts off with a sit down interview with our subjects, then the rest of the day is filming B-Roll of them at their home and office. This is a single camera shoot on a Sony F55 Camera, with a minimal crew.

Rate: $680/10 + $250/kit
Kit: 2 Wireless Lavs; Boom; Hop to Camera (scratch track); mixer
Payment made through our payroll service Entertainment Partners. We cannot process loan outs, or accept invoices for labor.

Covid Procedure:
We will be mailing you a home test kit, and will ask you do the test 48hrs before our shoot date. We can compensate twenty dollars for taking the time to take the test at home. Masks will be worn during the shoot.

Audio Specs:
All audio must be recorded 24-bit, 48kHz. Frame Rate: 29.97, drop frame
Audio must be WAV format with embedded timecode.
Audio Channel Assignments to Camera:
Channel 1 – Wireless Lav
Channel 2 – Wireless Lav or Boom Channel
Jam-sync all Cameras and Audio Devices
Cameras and Audio devices must be genlocked to individual camera mounted Lockit Boxes to eliminate timecode drifts between machines. Jam-sync all Cameras and Audio devices before every event, as often as possible.
Back up audio must be WAV format with embedded timecode. Please provide POLYPHONIC files so that all tracks are within one file.

Looking for a talented sound recordist willing to work locally in the Billings, MT area on August 10th. One day shoot. A simple 2 camera, one person interview and some B-Roll throughout the day.

Looking for an experienced location sound recordist for a corporate diversity video in Palo Alto, CA. You must provide your own gear. We will be shooting sit-down interviews and broll inside/around a working office building. Possible walking interviews, but unlikely.

Must be comfortable working in a corporate setting. Masks will be required at all times.

Seeking a sound recordist to record on location sound for a short film shooting in late August/early September. Shoot will take place in a quiet suburb.

Experienced and reliable Audio Mixer with gear needed for a shoot in Los Alamos, NM. First day is verite and second day is interview. Must have 4-6 channel mixer with a boom and lavs. Experience on docu-follow reality shows and TLC shows are a plus.

New Netflix Documentary Series seeks experienced Audio local as possible to Louisville to join us for a one day shoot, tomorrow, 8/11/22.

While this shoot is a 3 camera shoot, you'll be primarily working with our C-Cam operator & helping our 2 main mixers on the show mic cast as they arrive & booming for your 3rd camera. The shoot will be primarily outdoors following any/all vérité, as well as potential broll and OTF's. Documentary/Reality experience would be strongly preferred.

Jupiter Entertainment seeks an experienced Sound Mixer to join the upcoming field shoot in La Porte, IN in the Michigan City, IN area this Saturday 8/13.

This shoot will mainly consist of a single sit-down interview (taking place indoors in the interviewees home) with audio only, no camera. True-crime documentary TV and interview experience are highly preferred. Previous experience working with Jupiter Entertainment is a huge plus.

Must be willing to work with our gear (we will provide a full gear list for your reference.)

The FP will be remote so a team-oriented attitude is a must!
