Lost Galleon Films is hiring an ARMORER for WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE, a feature crime/thriller set in 1960s Nevada during a search for a wanted murderer.

***NOTE*** There will be a mix of dummy prop guns and blank firing guns, NONE of which can be made to fire real ammunition. ALL weapons have already been acquired, prepped, and sorted neatly into marked bins. A gun safe will be provided in a locked trailer. Production will provide a detailed armory bible breaking down each day's weapons use.

Applicants for the position should have prior experience working as an armorer on a feature film. Contracted duties for the position will encompass all industry standards for the position, including creating and implementing a safety plan in conjunction with the stunt coordinator and action producer, maintaining strict custody of weapons, whether blank-firing or dummy props, and conducting safety checks at all times when weapons are in use.

We are filming in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and the greater San Miguel County area, for two and a half weeks in October. Locations are mixed interior and exterior. Production provides three catered meals daily (four on the handful of overnights scheduled) and clean, comfortable accommodations on a most favored nations basis with the film's producers. The production has been designed to allow maximum turnaround in minimal company moves (hotel stays the same through production, base camp moves twice.)

Applicants MUST be New Mexico locals. Please indicate whether you are able to drive to and from the set hotel in Las Vegas and to and from sets. Transportation will be provided to and from hotel and sets upon request.

$1,800/week on a flat rate basis, or $350 per calendar day on weeks working less than five days. Production dates will be:

October 1 - 7 (1 week)
October 8 - 14 (1 week)
October 15 - 18 (4 days)

Payment will be remitted on a weekly basis by ABS Payroll.

NOTE: Production also provides backend participation! We offer a crew pool worth a total of one percent of company's net profits at a pro rata basis of days worked by the entire below-line production crew.

We're re-shooting a scene that we weren't able to complete during our initial phase of principle photography. It's 2 actors, one man and one woman. For our lead actress, we need to match her make-up to the previous scene, which included some light liver spotting on her skin to age her up a bit, and some redness on her hand to simulate a burn that she got in a previous scene.

For our other actor, we need to make him look pale and dead, as though he passed away in bed and has been there for a week or two. Pale skin, pale lips, some visible veins showing, and even some vomit on the face and shirt if possible. Happy to go into more detail if we get in contact.

We are going for hyper realism, so make-up/fake blood with true-to-life consistency is pivotal.
