Job Summary: The Content Experience Delivery Services team builds the APIs that deliver the content discovery experience for *** Streaming's clients, including *** +, *** , and *** +. We implement reliable, high-traffic services that power user experiences across web, mobile, and living room devices. Responsibilities: You'll be part of a hardworking group of engineers crafting systems that orchestrate and deliver data at scale - ultimately powering clients running on smart TVs, smartphones, gaming consoles, FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, and others.
We're passionate about highly available services - just like you! You'll apply your experience with various technologies to construct distributed, large-scale services.
Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience developing backend applications.
- Experience building microservices with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Strong programming skills in JVM and other object-oriented languages.
- A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases, etc.)
- Experience designing APIs and building RESTful services.
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience championing cross-team projects.
- A broad perspective on problem solving.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to share your knowledge with team members and others at *** Streaming.
- Understanding of source control concepts and exposure to Git.

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience deploying and scaling within a cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Exposure to build and deployment technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with async and reactive programming frameworks, such as Vert.x.
- Experience building solutions that utilize NoSQL databases and distributed caching technologies.
- Experience with Datadog or similar application monitoring software.
Required Education BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
