We are looking for a local freelance photographer with passion for shooting product for our worldwide websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative sense for product photography as well as the proven technical skill set necessary to thrive in a fast paced, high volume digital studio environment. The candidate will be shooting product, flats, table-top and on figure.

Product Photographer RESPONSIBILITES

Photographing product in a high volume, production oriented studio with set style guides and practices in place. Daily production volumes will need to be met while maintaining quality as defined by guides.
The photographer will be responsible for: Daily setup and breakdown of sets including white balancing, creation of shooting sessions, and housekeeping and maintenance in the bay.
Use Capture One to photograph a variety of product that adheres to quality and style guides.
Must be able to effectively operate multiple sets and manage all digital assets simultaneously.
Communicating with stylists, assistants, and other photographers to ensure only quality images are published to site.
Troubleshooting on set for lighting, styling, and equipment concerns.
Reporting productivity back to management team.
Can effectively use Capture One and Microsoft Office software on Mac and PC platform as well as Canon and Profoto photography equipment.

Product Photographer REQUIREMENTS

Ability to manage and report weekly availability
Strong photographic lighting and compositional skills.
Ability to interrupt established aesthetics and style guides.
Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively, with constant attention to process improvement.
Has proven experience to excel and thrive in a studio environment that straddles both a high-volume workflow with high quality work.
Strong on-set skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independent of others. Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment.
Must have In-depth knowledge of product photography

Product Photographer EXPECTATIONS

Arrive on time to set and ready to work in a collaborative environment with stylists and assistants.
Photographer will be held accountable to quality and production standards as defined by the studio.
Continuously seeks improvements to workflow processes while maintaining current service level agreements
Basic Qualifications:

A strong commercial photography portfolio that demonstrate expertise in applied techniques and a working knowledge of digital photography, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics.
Digital studio photography experience in a commercial setting. Please include Software and studio EQ proficiency list.

Degree in commercial photography and/or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Capture One Pro.
Proficient on PC (Windows10) computing platforms
Previous commercial photographer experience

I am looking for someone local in the Kansas City area who is available next week on April 27th to photograph some cars in a tow yard that will be used for an online auction.

You will be photographing the cars on your cell phone and uploading the pictures on a specific website that we will give you access to, and provide a demo tutorial on how to upload the photos. Once you are done, you let me know so I can let the client know and they will check the pictures before you leave the lot, in order to make sure we have all the pictures and to avoid and trips back to the lot.

We need the following photos of each car:
