New York-based Production Company looking for an experienced Story Producer for a long-running, fast-paced, home renovation series. Candidates should have previous Story Producer credits and be Avid-savvy.

We're looking for creative individuals with the ability to collaborate with Editors and Producers, but also able to work ahead independently on story and string-outs while keeping to schedule.

This role starts mid-season and you will be assigned episodes at various stages of edit.

Responsibilities include:
- Daily management of several episodes, all in different stages of the editing process.
- Collaborating with a variety of Editors under a tight delivery schedule.
- Screening raw footage of all scenes for each assigned episode.
- Cutting down scenes for Editors.
- Addressing internal creative notes.
- Delivering cuts to, and addressing all notes (RC/FC/PL) from the Network.
- Communicating with pre-production to ensure each episode's approved story is fully executed in post.
- Writing descriptions for graphics builds.
- Writing voice-over copy for all assigned episodes.

Minneapolis-based production company is looking for Story Producers for multiple upcoming food, lifestyle, and travel series. This is not a traveling position �¢?? employee can work remotely and multiple back-to-back episodes are a possibility.

Ideal candidates can demonstrate an ability to turn scripts on tight deadlines based on hotsheets, transcripts, and viewing files. An ability to string out segments in Avid is not a requirement, but a strong asset. Candidates must be able to manage and re-prioritize their time effectively, take direction with ease, and adhere to standard script formats.
