Story Producers will review all footage coming in from the field, create selects, build string outs and work with creative producers, editors, and director to help shape the story of the edit. They will take ownership over several episodes and work with those episode editors daily to make supply materials needed for the edit. We are looking for people who live and breathe story and can help visualize and explore themes, tone, strong story arcs within the footage and the string outs and cut downs they build.

Story Producers will communicate with the field on specific needs and requests from post while filming is happening as well as create pick up documents and contribute to interview questions for additional shooting needs. Ideal candidates will have extensive avid experience and knowledge with credits on projects that are verité based. The biggest caveat is that the story revolves around a Polish family, and there is a substantial amount of Polish in the script. We need someone who can speak and understand Polish, who can follow the dialogue, and even act as a translator for the director.
