We have a 3 day single cam commercial shoot in the Walnut Creek and surrounding area for a celebrity beverage brand and are looking for a swing to bring onto the project. Most of the project will be shot in various locations(1-2 locations per day) and there may be some content outdoors as well.

RUN Studios has a part-time opportunity for a technically savvy, solution-oriented individual. We are seeking a driven Light System Tech to assist our client, a leader in the video production industry located in the Redmond area.

Video production is an integral part of our clients marketing and communication strategy, and you will be front and center in supporting those productions. Working with the larger production team you will working with Lighting Director or Gaffer to assist the GrandMA Op to address lights. You will also review current power set-up and map out any power additions to make sure current load can maintain new request load.

The work will be on an as-needed basis, hours will fluctuate based on project needs. Must be available to work on site in Redmond, WA.

As a Light System Tech, You Will

Keep safety priority number one
Monitor power additions and subtractions to make sure production crew is safe while working with preset distro power supply
Support production rigging needs
Operate necessary lighting and staging equipment
Take direction from LD Gaffe, or GrandMA Operator
Utilize manual or computer controlled lighting system
Keep lighting equipment in good shape
Work with facility support or accessing lighting fixtures and gak

As an Applicant, You Bring

Basic knowledge of distro power set-ups
Knowledge of power load calculations and how to manage
Knowledge of DMX configuration and set-up
Ability to adapt to sudden change
Knowledge of video production and gaff and grip workflow and gak

Bonus if You Have

Scissor and or Boom lift experience
Experience with both live studio and cine production
Experience as a Master Electrician

Compensation

Pay Range: $30.00 - 40.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Looking for local St. Louis Grip / PA for a shoot in Wentzville, Missouri.

Will need you to assist us on a corporate shoot with small crew and small footprint. Job will mainly consist of moving and staging needed lights and equipment throughout a large facility. It will be an 8hr day but may also require you to return some grip equipment (C-stands & dirt) to St. Louis right after the shoot.

If you have C-stands or sandbags please say so in your response. We will rent them from you. Same goes for an AC cart. This is a BIG plus if you have your own AC cart or just a good cart for moving pelicans around on.

For the gaffer position: Client wants to enhance natural light in a home situation, hoping to work mostly with flags, rags and bounces. Aperture 600 and 300 package is available if needed.

Ideally looking for the same person on both shoots. 4-5 hour days starting around 11am. Rate is $750 per day. Applicants need to have their own car for transportation.

Looking for 2 experienced grips for a non-union corporate job in Elyria, OH (Just west of Cleveland). Job is to support a small crew with lighting and grip tasks. Filming will take place at a hospital. If required by the location, applicants must be willing to wear a mask.

DP will be bringing all equipment, however if applicants have c-stands or sandbags available for rent please mention in application.

Looking for an experienced Gaffer local to Greenville NC for a mental health-related short film on June 30th.

Job Details
- 8-hour shoot day on June 30th from 8:00am-4:15pm
-Must have your own equipment
- Must be quick and easy to work with we are a small crew
-Must be professional, we will be dealing with serious subject matters such as suicide, depression etc.

This is a crew position on a 3 crew shoot.

We will be filming 2 short commercials, estimated film days are 5-6 hours in length. The rate is negotiable for individuals with varying experience.

You will be working with a director, camera operator, and the team of the company developing the commercial. Your primary role will be to support the director by working with the camera operator to ensure that lighting is cinematic and/or appropriate for the shot and monitoring secondary audio feeds to enable the director to focus on her job instead of manning lighting and audio.

Occasionally you may need to run a stationary camera (I. E., frame the shot on a tripod and speed it when called for).

Prior audio experience preferred but not required: our director can make it simple and give instructions where necessary.
Promptness is a requirement.
Equipment is not a requirement, we have a small lighting kit.
