Job Title: Network & Computer Systems Administrator

Job Duties: Responsible for administration of Networks, maintenance and support of Petitioner's Computer Systems. Coordinate the prompt, effective resolution of all network issues and outages. Perform root cause analysis to document outages or issues that impact the business, including steps taken to prevent recurrence. Design, build, maintain, and advance network infrastructure to meet and improve business IT needs. Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security; maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points and controllers, firewall, routers, switches. Schedule and implement network changes, backups, patches, upgrades, and installations. Assist with and maintain network infrastructure, including networking equipment, shared storage systems, and editorial equipment, as needed. Maintain and assist with Windows server and AD services. Provide IT support and help to manage and deploy our Mac-based office computer fleet and our G Suite email and groupware system. Provide direct support and technical assistance to users by promptly addressing tickets and providing helpful feedback. Stays current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends ways for Left/Right to take advantage of new technology

Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics or Electrical Engineering or other related field.

Skills Required: An understanding of Network Protocols including: TCP/IP, Telnet, FTP, UDP, SMTP, etc. A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking. Sound Working knowledge of Firewalls, DMZ, VPN, VOIP, QoS, DNS, DHCP, VMware networking. Sound working- knowledge with Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and vmware. Sound working-knowledge of wireless controllers, and access points. Ability to troubleshoot network issues including backbone infrastructure issues. Sound working knowledge of LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks). Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2003/2008) /desktop Operating Systems (7/ 10), Mac OS. Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server administration including: Active Directory, GPO, etc. Sound working-knowledge in Gsuite. Strong communication and documentation skills. Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length. The Editor, Native Edit (Beauty & Style) will join an agile and fast-paced team that creates branded content for a wide range of beauty and style advertisers across the Dotdash *** portfolio, with a strong focus on Byrdie, Brides, InStyle, and Shape. The ideal candidate is comfortable conceptualizing, writing, editing, and assigning beauty and style content that lives in digital, social, and print environments. This person should also be able to confidently manage multiple deadlines at once and seamlessly collaborate with sales and marketing teams, art directors, designers, and freelance writers. This role will ladder up to the Associate Director, Native Edit.

Write copy/act as copy lead for native content campaigns across digital, social, and print
Source freelance writers with diverse expertise, when necessary, and manage those relationships
- Ensure client objectives are being met/feedback is being addressed properly
- Ensure copy is respective of Dotdash *** brand guidelines and creatively sound, including meeting quality and editorial standards
Partner with Producers and/or Project Managers to ensure internal teams and hired freelancers are meeting all deadlines
Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers on visual representation of written content
As necessary, speak with clients in presentations and on calls regarding concepts and drafts

Partner with Associate Director, Native Edit and Producers and/or Project Managers to respond to an incoming flow of new business opportunities
- Participate in brainstorms with internal Foundry, marketing, sales, and editorial stakeholders
- Write content thought-starters and/or concepts for marketing proposals
- As necessary, pitch ideas to clients

Cultivate close relationships with the editorial staff of relevant Dotdash *** beauty and style brands, such as Byrdie, Brides, InStyle, and Shape
Maintain and build a database of freelance writers, editors, and content creators with an emphasis on diversity

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or marketing preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience as a writer and/or editor in an editorial or agency setting
Prior branded content experience is a plus
Experience working in the beauty/style content space is preferred

Pay Range
Salary: $52,400 - $77,000

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash *** 's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
