We are seeking candidates for a Talent Manager on a premium documentary series, set to begin pre-production in October of 2023. The Talent Manager will be the day-to-day liaison between the primary subjects of the series and the creative and production teams. There will be at least a dozen individuals to manage, each with various planned events that may overlap with each other. Candidate will need to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana approximately from October - March. Working local to Louisiana is a plus.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Tracking and coordinating multiple subject schedules.
Explore new story possibilities based on subject event schedule.
Organizing cast travel, if necessary, in conjunction with production team.
Ongoing communication with subjects and subjects' reps or related parties.
Providing cast with releases and filming updates as needed.
Communicating all relevant information and working closely with Producers, Director, Production Company as needed.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to connect with a younger generation as the main cast members are between the ages of 18-22.

The Producer Booker is responsible for finding, booking, and producing the most compelling news segments.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for finding guests for Political and Community Affairs program.
Research and produce live segments, including writing editorially strong questions.
Responsible for pitching, booking, and preparing information for the development of interview segments.
Develops and maintains relationships with a list of subject matter experts for various topics (i.e., terrorism, security, health, etc.).
Develops relationships with Talent agents, Managers, Publicists, Community, and political organizations and maintains an updated list of contacts.

Proposes list of potential interviews for breaking news events.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
