Here at Groove, we travel around the country hosting extremely professional dance events while maintaining our vision: to create a positive, fun and memorable experience for all dancers, instructors and families alike. Our crew is what makes our events so successful. Here at Groove we have several job opportunities within our crew, one of them being our score keeper!

If you are charismatic and enjoy working with technology, then this job is for you! It is the responsibility of the scorekeeper to keep the show running smoothly by maintaining the performance order as per the stage managers instructions and communicating any changes to the sound technician. It is up to you to ensure scores are recorded, accurate and complete for each entry. You will also serve as line of communication between Groove and the judges. It is the scorekeeper's responsibility to act as the emcee and announce all dances over the microphone as they enter the stage. Each crew member at Groove is also responsible for contributing to social media, such as taking pictures of special moments backstage, on stage, etc. from their unique perspective during the event.

Requirements:
Must be available to work and travel Thursday evenings through Monday mornings during the months of February through May.
Must have at least one job prior.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to speak clearly and comfortably through a microphone.
Must have basic computer literacy.
Must be able and willing to commute to the Groove office for mandatory training(s) as needed.
Must follow requirements implemented for COVID-19 as set forth by Groove/location dependent.
