Our crew is what makes our events so successful. Here at Groove we have several job opportunities within our crew, one of them being our awards coordinator!

If organization is your specialty – you will love this job! The awards coordinator is responsible for collecting scores from our scoring system. The coordinator will label and bag each adjudicated award (pins). You will also be responsible for creating and preparing judges’ awards. Finally, you will need to organize the overall plaques as well as cash prizes, scholarships, medals and opening number invitations. You will have the opportunity to work along side of the event director(s) for studio awards as well. Additionally, at the start of each day, the awards coordinator will greet studio directors, parents, students, etc. Each crew member at Groove is also responsible for contributing to social media, such as taking pictures of special moments backstage, on stage, etc. from their unique perspective during the event.

Requirements:
Impeccable organizational skills.
Strong Interpersonal skills.
Must be available to work and travel Thursday evenings through Monday mornings during the months of February through May.
Must have at least one job prior.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able and willing to commute to the Groove office for mandatory training(s) as needed.
Must follow requirements implemented for COVID-19 as set forth by Groove/location dependent.
