We are currently searching for a Technical Director for our client, a premier global telecommunications partner in Dallas, TX.
This is a part-time, temporary role on an as-needed basis.
About the opportunity:
The Technical Director (TD) will work in a production control room in the studio and operates the video switcher and the chief of the crew.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the audio and visual production process
Designing, setting up, and operating sound and lighting equipment for projects.
Providing technical support for productions, programs, and events.
Understands how to utilize the carbonite black switcher or similar technology
Communicate with talent in preparation for the show, event, etc.
Giving direction for talent to deliver properly while on screen from an audio/visual perspective.
Be comfortable with multi-tasking and working independently in the control room. The TD in this control room is switching and producing the show.
Final products are multi-camera studio training videos show with an audience, multi-person panels, and/or single presenters.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Broadcast Industry experience
A high technical aptitude
Interpersonal and leadership skills
Must have working experience with Ross Carbonite board and Tri-caster
Education & certification requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
