Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

The Technical Manager will provide front-line management of personnel, facilities, equipment, operations and technology for a customer driven production operations group. Coordinate all technical and logistical requirements prior to air and then in the control rooms to ensure that all technical aspects of the production go as planned. This position works with and supports productions in the *** Sports Group Stamford facility including the *** Broadcast Network, Golf Channel, Olympic Channel, *** as well as *** Olympics.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with all show personnel in planning programs and scheduling manpower resources including field crews, edit rooms, control rooms and production ***
• Coordinate and communicate with remote origination locations to ensure technical quality and readiness for air.
• Ensure efficient utilization of company resources within a fast paced rapidly changing environment
• Work with other *** entities, outside broadcasters and vendors to identify, negotiate for and secure required resources.
• Maintain technical and broadcast quality.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure all equipment is meeting client's expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimumfive (5) years' experience in live, studio television production experience.
• Minimum five (5)years' experience in engineering support and operational experience in broadcast studio and production control room.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience with field/remote production processes and equipment (including satellite/telco and communications) experience.
• Must have proficient computer skills including; Apple, Microsoft O365, and other collaborative software platforms.
• Must be able to work flexible and long hours during the week and across weekends.

The Production Tech role is responsible for working with editorial staff and field crews in acquiring, routing, and operating equipment to acquire live signals. Editing video using nonlinear editing equipment for the newscast and supporting the technical needs of the Production Control Room and Studio.

JOB FUNCTION:
Duties include acquiring and routing RF and bonded cellular signals with the ability to multi-task under deadlines. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Audio-Visual Technician will support internal and external stakeholders of *** Corporation. The successful candidate will be required to support Audio-Visual (AV) systems on premise in all *** environments. The candidate will engage and work constructively with AV vendors, assist in overseeing AV system installations, and repairs. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide on-site Zoom and Conference room technical support for *** employees and other business associates at the "White Glove" level.
• Determine client expectations for all technical requirements for events.
• Maintain proper communication in setting the expectations and the delivery of services requested.
• Set up and adjust AV equipment for trainings, presentations, meetings, conferences, and events.
• Perform routine maintenance, testing and daily room checks to confirm functionality of all AV equipment and software.
• Collaborates with teams and project committees to ensure that audio/visual integrations adhere to company standards.
• Report issues and status updates in a timely manner to team and management, following proper escalation procedures.
• Install AV equipment including but not limited to displays, projectors, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems, microphones and speakers.
• Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and software malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a broad and in-depth knowledge of AV technologies.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.

**** YOU **** NEED

• 1 - 4 years of experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
• Experience and certifications for Dante, AV over IP, Extron, Shure, BiAmp, and Poly systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills (including verbal and written communication).
• Commercial AV installation experience including best practices and safety requirements is a plus.
• Fundamental computer networking comprehension and configuration skills.
• Experience working with macOS and Microsoft operating systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills that are quality focused and consistent with *** 's standards.
