Objectives
The Lead Videographer produces video content according to the brand and project requirements. This position will be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand story, imagery, and color, while producing exciting, engaging content that elevates the brand across channels.
Ideal candidates should have knack for storytelling, be passionate about every element of production (from conceptualizing and planning to post-production), maximize creativity even with limited resources, and have a proven ability to think on their feet in the field and in post, to quickly problem-solve and pivot where needed. You must be a team player and be able to jump in where needed on different projects, as business needs dictate.
Essential Functions
Create engaging video content for a variety of media that aligns with corporate marketing initiatives.
Execute studio and on-location shoots for a variety of projects, from documentaries to training videos to commercials.
Drive a project throughout the entire process from pre-production planning and preparation to post-production and release of the final product.
Maintain equipment inventory and production schedules, including securing rentals where needed, and working with location vendors.
Play a pivotal role in concept development by presenting new ideas to project stakeholders.
Strategically delegate, providing constructive feedback to fellow team members, including coaching and mentorship.
Required Skills
Configure, operate, and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting, and associated production equipment.
Proficient with Adobe CC, with a focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with XD, Illustrator, Photoshop is a plus.
Comfortable interviewing key figures within the company, tracking story, and doing light scripting where necessary.
Media management (ability to recognize and conform to existing systems)
Project management (ability to manage timelines and schedules, recognize priorities and operate within scope and budget.)
Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure that projects are being produced in accordance with brand/messaging direction.
Ability to collaborate with a team through all aspects of production. Must be willing to both give and receive feedback to achieve business goals.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will help manage the execution of projects, including some delegation of fellow AV team members. May also be required to interface with vendors/outside agencies in the creation of video assets.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of experience in Videography, filming and editing.
Strong working knowledge or practical understanding of most popular professional graphic programs including Adobe Creative Suite.
2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
