Interviews and Broll - HD Camera of almost any flavor, small amount of lighting and will be in and outdoors possible. Everyday type stuff for an experienced shooter.

As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in capturing video and photo content tailored for promotional ads on various digital platforms, including social media and company websites. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating closely with our client to understand their vision and requirements.
- Conducting scripted interviews using two-camera setups.
- Capturing captivating still shots for marketing campaigns.
- Filming BROLL footage from multiple angles to showcase non-invasive medical treatments.

Key Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Experience in setting up two-camera operated interviews.
- Proficiency in capturing still shots that align with marketing goals.
- Skill in filming engaging BROLL footage.

Additional Information:

- Production days typically range from 5-8 hours, depending on the project scope and treatment focus.
- You will work closely with a remote Producer, who will be streaming for the first half of the day.
- Pre-production materials will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the shoot.

Gear Needed:
-Cam A (preferably RED, Black Magic, or Sony digital cameras)
-Cam B (that is also able to produce photos)
-2 Tripods
-Teleprompter
-Laptop (Apple Macbook preferred but not required for broadcasting live footage)
-Computer/Laptop for uploading content to hard-drive and shipping out to our office in Austin, Texas
-Audio (preferably a LAV system)
-Continuous light coverage for 1-subject interviews and treatments (if necessary)

Day Rate: $1000
Overtime: $187.50 per hour
Meal Reimbursement: Up to $100 for food per day
Equipment Rate: $500 per day

Additional Compensation: Contractor will receive an additional $200 travel day rate and gas reimbursement if traveling over 2 hours (one way) from residence to filming location.

StarQuest Dance Competition is a nationwide dance competition, touring to 70+ cities each year and delivering a truly unique experience to young performers. We are looking for motivated, positive, people-oriented leaders to join our touring Road Warrior team!

What POSITIONS are we looking for?
• Photographer/Camera Operator: Each tour has 2 camera team members onsite, alternating a few times daily between both of these positions. The photographer position is a sports photographer, responsible for capturing the physical peaks and emotional moments throughout each and every performance. Often shooting up to 100 photos per entry with only 18-20 seconds between each entry for 2-3 hours at a time; confidence in artistic consistency and endurance are important. Camera operation is live, fixed center-house tripod shooting. Strong skills in anticipating quick motion, maintaining consistent composition and a willingness to learn are required. These photos/videos are immediately sent to the lobby for on-site viewing, so retouching is not an option, which means a strong eye is a MUST!
