Videographer
Description:
Part-time position in NYC; includes but is not limited to preparation and planning for shooting the scripted show with 2-3 camera set up; location scouting; equipment and lighting set up/take down; video/sound recording and processing. Videographer is responsible for ensuring all video footage is properly recorded, logged, and delivered to both director and editor, as well as creating and keeping a stored copy of it in a shared drive.
Starting time: end of November 2023. Weekend availability is a must.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Two (2) years of video production experience, including professional experience with EFP, DSLR cameras, professional sound, and lighting equipment, as well as experience with editing software, such as Adobe Premiere and AVID
• Camera operator with a vision, excellent eye for composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics, creative approach in reality and/or documentary/news storytelling.
• Professional, perfect work ethic, positive problem-solving approach to work.
• Strong storytelling abilities, sense of humor and understanding of jokes.
• Fluent in English.
• Self-discipline, attention to details, ability to work on your own, while being open to feedback from other team members, as well as ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
