Videographer needed for 1-day shoot to capture b-roll. Subjects will be technical/leading edge technology, automative, and people. Must be able to film without additional lighting. Nature of shoot is verite / documentary style. Must be comfortable working with any environment, indoors or outdoors.

Light post production required - applicant should be familiar with Adobe Premiere and able to follow an assigned file naming convention, do light post production refinements like applying a Lut, etc. Minimum deliverable is 15 (1) minute select shots and all raw footage files.

File delivery is electronic.

When applying, please specify your camera / equipment package. DSLR with stabilizer/gimbal and tripod is fine, a big cinematic camera is not necessary. No audio (besides on-camera mic) is needed. Please provide work samples. Please provide asking rate, inclusive of all equipment and deliverables. Applicants should assume 12 hours on location, although we barely ever go that long.

Could lead to periodic, ongoing work.

One day of footage in Nashville, Tennessee for the production of one episode for a web series (Monday, March 15, 2021, 10 am to 5 pm approximately) about early American history. We are looking for a videographer with experience in short films, editing (including map animations);

The event will take place at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage.

Lafayette was an officer in the Continental Army, a staunch abolitionist, a strong voice for universal human rights, and an advocate for national coherence throughout his life. He visited Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in 1825 where Jackson exhibited for him the pair of pistols that Lafayette gave George Washington in 1778.

Filming includes:

1. The dedication of a Lafayette Trail historic marker (https://www.thelafayettetrail.org/markers/map/) commemorating General Lafayette's visit to the Hermitage on May 5, 1825;
2. B-roll around the Hermitage estate, inside the mansion;
3. Short interviews with one executive of the Hermitage, one or a few TN elected officials, and other public figures.

This short documentary will follow the stories of principals, teachers, and students at two separate Transfer Schools in New York City. One in The Bronx, and one in Brooklyn.

This year, as a result of COVID, NY State removed the normal graduation restriction on students based on successfully passing the Regents Exam. Many students, with proper credits, graduated as a result who would normally have been unable to do so.

It will be a film about the work, the issues, and the problems facing Transfer schools and the legislation that hinders them. But mostly it will be a film about the people and their hidden struggles not often seen by the outside world; or on a greater scale, the legislators that bind them.

Purpose of the film is two-fold: Exposure and Festival Attention, but also as a tool for the principals featured to gain funding for new schools that they plan to open within the next couple years.

Filming will take place over a series of 4-5 days in late March.

Looking for a DP with documentary experience. Aiming for a cinematic look.

Beautiful shots, heavy amounts of b-roll to allow a steady stream of cuts over potentially informative voice-over.

The ideal candidate would have worked across many aspects of film production, both narrative and documentary style. Very communicative, but also very flexible. Able to set-up general lighting that allows for beautiful images, but also completely accommodates spontaneity. We would defer to you, first, for recommendations for our Gaffer/Grip, and AC/B Cam Op positions. Bonus points if you grew up in the New York Public School System, or have experience with Transfer Schools.

Please submit a Demo Reel for consideration, especially highlighting any documentary work. Will be holding Zoom interviews with chosen candidates to gauge potential collaboration.

PLEASE NOTE: Rate flexible for the right candidate. We would likely be looking to rent your camera gear as well for an additional fee (insured). Please include in your submission your selection of camera/s and lenses that may be available to rent should we hire you for the production.

The Director of Photography is responsible for ordering and testing camera and lighting equipment, supervising a camera and lighting crew and editing a film's visual elements in post production, among other duties.

We are seeking a D.O.P to shoot a short corporate video in 4K. The video will be a ½ day shoot, taking place in early April (exact date TBC). The video is a sit-down, interview style video.

Director of Photography Responsibilities:
- Determining lighting requirements on set (three-point interview lighting setup)
- Provide or hire and test the camera and lighting equipment
- Supervising the Camera Operator and working with the Director to decide on the best camera angles and frame

The Crew:
Due to COVID-19 precautions, we would like it to be kept to a minimal crew. The D.O.P will be working with one Camera Operator. There will be one person for Hair & Makeup present. And the Talent is one person. The Director will live stream in from Hong Kong.

Videographer/Gaffer Needed. Shooting one sit down documentary interview and some b-roll at subject's home near San Francisco CA on March 3rd. (Afternoon shoot will wrap within 6hrs) Need a local gaffer with a small lighting package, G&E. Small 3-man crew: A DP and Producer/Director flying in for the day with cameras and sound gear. We are looking for local help to bring gear, light the subject and operate our B-CAM (DSLR-GH5) You need only bring your lighting and grip gear. All camera and sound equipment flying in with DP and Producer/Director. See attached example of lighting. Your lighting package should include: LED or Arri soft kit, small lensed instruments for room highlights, C-Stands (4), boom arm for a back light, gels, flag kit, stingers, sound blankets. You will be asked to operate the B-CAM, which may be locked down on profile shot or on a small slider DP will bring.

Looking for a one man army type of shooter/editor with experience running their own sound, camera along with ability to edit. Looking for someone full-time for a digital production that shoots content for some of the worlds largest brands/names.

We have all of the gear but if you have some also that is great!

Rate is $30 an hour.

For a shoot in the Newark, DE area. Shooting off and on in chunks for the next few months. Must be local and must have professional experience, as well as the necessary computers to perform the job.

- Take the media that has been shot and back up all the files to a master drive and a backup drive.

- Proxy files created on site, loaded onto an SSD drive, and then shipped to Post. Our AEs will work closely with you to get everything setup, and are always available to answer questions, especially since we using AVID in the field to transcode these proxies, so that our online process is not difficult.

- Once the proxies are on the SSD, add audio to that drive, and send those SSDs to every other day. The final step will be to send the AVID bins back to post, however, those are roughly 90kb big, so we usually just zip them up and email them.

In addition to those duties above, we, of course, will need things like tape logs and audio reports, the usual needs from production to post.
