Description:
Part-time position in NYC; includes but is not limited to preparation and planning for shooting the scripted show with 2-3 camera set up; location scouting; equipment and lighting set up/take down; video/sound recording and processing. Videographer is responsible for ensuring all video footage is properly recorded, logged, and delivered to both director and editor, as well as creating and keeping a stored copy of it in a shared drive.
Starting time: end of November 2023. Weekend availability is a must.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Two (2) years of video production experience, including professional experience with EFP, DSLR cameras, professional sound, and lighting equipment, as well as experience with editing software, such as Adobe Premiere and AVID
• Camera operator with a vision, excellent eye for composition, lighting, and visual aesthetics, creative approach in reality and/or documentary/news storytelling.
• Professional, perfect work ethic, positive problem-solving approach to work.
• Strong storytelling abilities, sense of humor and understanding of jokes.
• Fluent in English.
• Self-discipline, attention to details, ability to work on your own, while being open to feedback from other team members, as well as ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in capturing video and photo content tailored for promotional ads on various digital platforms, including social media and company websites. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating closely with our client to understand their vision and requirements.
- Conducting scripted interviews using two-camera setups.
- Capturing captivating still shots for marketing campaigns.
- Filming BROLL footage from multiple angles to showcase non-invasive medical treatments.

Key Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Experience in setting up two-camera operated interviews.
- Proficiency in capturing still shots that align with marketing goals.
- Skill in filming engaging BROLL footage.

Additional Information:

- Production days typically range from 5-8 hours, depending on the project scope and treatment focus.
- You will work closely with a remote Producer, who will be streaming for the first half of the day.
- Pre-production materials will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the shoot.

Gear Needed:
-Cam A (preferably RED, Black Magic, or Sony digital cameras)
-Cam B (that is also able to produce photos)
-2 Tripods
-Teleprompter
-Laptop (Apple Macbook preferred but not required for broadcasting live footage)
-Computer/Laptop for uploading content to hard-drive and shipping out to our office in Austin, Texas
-Audio (preferably a LAV system)
-Continuous light coverage for 1-subject interviews and treatments (if necessary)
-Slate

Day Rate: $1000
Overtime: $187.50 per hour
Meal Reimbursement: Up to $100 for food per day
Equipment Rate: $500 per day

Additional Compensation: Contractor will receive an additional $200 travel day rate and gas reimbursement if traveling over 2 hours (one way) from residence to filming location.

We're looking for a high-level Teleprompter Specialist to work with us for a live broadcast in NYC on (12/2). The majority of your work will take place during a live pre-show segment from 8p - 8:45p.

There is a chance you will also work the closing window during a live post-show segment from 11p - 11:30p.

There is a strong chance we'll bring you in for a rehearsal day on (12/1).
