2-person interview

Looking for a camera op for a 4K DSLR camera for a live comedy event. Must be available May 20-21 from 5 PM - 1 AM. Approximately 8 hours days. Budget is $250 per day. Must be good with comedic timing and have experience at live events with low camera lighting.

We are looking for an organized and creative videographer to work with our creative team to plan, film, and edit video content according to client briefs. The videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing film footage.

To be successful as a videographer you must be able to understand client briefs and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good videographer should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable.


Videographer Responsibilities:

Film videos on set or on location.
Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.
Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client.
Edit footage in post-production.
Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired.

Videographer Requirements:

BA in Film, Arts or related field
3+ years of camera operating experience
Knowledge of industry equipment, cameras, drones, etc.
Excellent computer literacy.
Proficiency with Adobe Suite.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Relative fitness and stamina to work long shoot days.

We are looking for an experienced videographer with experience in using their 4K camera as a webcam and local recording capabilities to film our Fellows on location in their home or office environment in Darien, Connecticut.

Your responsibilities would be:

Attend the Talent's home or office and set up a filming environment in line with Spec Sheet requirements (clean background with minimal clutter)

Run technical checks with The Garden's production team prior to go-live. This is a live-streamed talk and there is no possibility for reshoots so we need to make sure the equipment is set up and syncing properly

Set up your camera to act as a webcam with The Garden's platform for the live Talk and record the Talk locally, with great lighting and audio

Make the Talent feel comfortable with the setup and the recording experience. These are not individuals who regularly speak to the camera so keeping them calm and supporting them during prep

No post-production editing is required; the recording should be uploaded to a dropbox and shared with us after the filming session.

Expected time requirements: Depending on your time to travel to the venue we expect this to take 2 hours set up & prep, 45 minutes live Talk, 15-30 minutes to wrap up.

Tony Award-winning production company, Apples and Oranges, seeks experienced videographers to join our National High School Musical Theatre Awards production team.

Better known as The Jimmy Awards, The National High School Musical Theatre Awards are a national celebration of outstanding student achievement, recognizing individual artistry in vocal, dance, and acting performance and elevating the importance of theatre arts education in schools, presented by The Broadway League.

Apples and Oranges will produce all video coverage of the 8-day program documenting 96 nominees from around the country as they work with top musical theatre talent, guests and coaches to learn a full length show that will be presented to a panel of industry judges, and the general public, at The Minskoff Theatre on Broadway.

Videographers will capture everything from docu-reality style rehearsal footage to b-roll, traditional multi-cam and OTF interviews, speaker sessions and press coverage to create documentary style video packages that will play during the awards ceremony and beyond. Successful candidates should have experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving, professional environment. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work non-traditional shifts and extended hours (including evenings and weekends). Ability to shoot discreetly, capture fly-on-the-wall type coverage is essential and experience in musical theatre, dance or other performing arts rehearsal environment is preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Creative videography/cinematography background with a good eye for movement and great visuals
• Experience in docu-reality style television or similar fast-moving, multi-cam production environment
• Ability to shoot on assignment, receive notes and direction from producers, editors and other stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of current camera systems and software including the Panasonic GH series
• Experience setting up multi-camera interviews, basic (2, 3-point) lighting
• Flexible schedule

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Passion for/experience working in musical theater and the performing arts
• Basic knowledge/understanding of single-system sound recording
• Major live event coverage experience (preferred but not necessary)
• Experience working within an educational environment/setting

We are seeking a videographer for a testimonial/informational-type of commercial shoot in Asheville, NC in mid-May, date is not set yet but looking at the week of the 16th or the 23rd. This would be a weekday shoot only, client is not open on weekends.

Need a videographer/cinematographer/DP that needs to own and operate a 360 camera for filming a concert event that will be viewed on the Oculus. Ideally owns a good, high end 360 camera like a Insta360 Pro 2, Z CAM V1, Z CAM S1 Pro, Kandao Obsidian S, Insta360 Titan, Kandao Obsidian Pro. And if you don't own one of those higher end 360 cameras please let us know which 360 camera you own. Ideally the person can also do post production stitching of the videos, or they know someone that does the post production 360 stitching.

You would be filming a concert band performance next month in NYC.

Health media company covering a conference about blood cancer research in June. It would most likely be a 2-camera set up with basic ENG lighting and sound. We would not be recording the conference itself, we will be setting up interviews with some of the attending doctors in sit-down interviews.
