Summer Day Camp - Filmmaker / Photographer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FILM/PHOTO PERSON WITH EXPERIENCE TO HELP US SHOOT/EDIT VIDEOS DOCUMENTING OUR SUMMER ACTIVITIES WEEKLY ALONG WITH SHOOTING PHOTOS OF OUR CAMPERS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER AND POSTING DAILY ON SOCIAL MEDIA. Candidate must have a strong passion for film and photography.

Looking for someone to film, edit and produce weekly videos to ensure a professional and compelling representation of camp along with daily photos which are posted online. Experience in photography, videography, content creation, and other related areas.

Camp Dates: June 24 – August 16, 2024 (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:15pm) No Camp Thursday July 4th. (You must be available the entire 8 weeks of camp) - NO WEEKENDS!

As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in capturing video content tailored for promotional ads on various digital platforms, including social media and company websites. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating closely with our Director to understand their vision and requirements.
- Assist with scripted interviews using two-camera setups.
- Filming BROLL footage from multiple angles to showcase non-invasive medical treatments.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in setting up two-camera operated interviews.
- Proficiency in capturing still shots that align with marketing goals.
- Skill in filming engaging BROLL footage.

Additional Information:
- Production days typically range from 5-8 hours, depending on the project scope and treatment focus.
- You will work closely with a Company Director
- Pre-production materials will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the shoot.

Gear Needed: None unless specified by the Director (such as a tripod)

Day Rate: $450/8
Overtime: $84.38 per hour.
Meal Reimbursement: Up to $50 for food per day


Additional Compensation: Contractor will receive an additional $100 travel day rate and gas reimbursement if traveling over 2 hours (one way) from residence to filming location.

Looking for a local videographer for a 1 day shoot in Beaverton, Oregon on May 1st. We will be filming with an FX6 and a7siii and will provide the cameras, sticks, and a ronin RS2. We will be filming broll and interviews in 9:16 format. We are looking for a videographer that can provide lighting and additional camera support. If you have a local crew that you work with that would be a bonus. Total crew would be videographer + Gaffer + Sound recordist. We are looking for a wedding video second shooter to assist in a wedding shoot in Brantford, CT. You must own a Camera that films in Log or Raw. it could be a Sony a Canon or Blackmagic.

You will assist the first shooter filming Bride/Groom preparation, B-rolls, Bride/Groom preparation, first look etc....
If you are getting into wedding videography, this will be a great opportunity for you to get accustom to wedding video experience.

Otter Technologies specializes in digital waivers and text marketing solutions for shooting ranges. This video will highlight a client testimonial, along with various aspects of the shooting range experience, including digital waiver usage, text sign-ups, and more.

Requirements:

Own Equipment: Must own high-quality videography gear, including lights, a slider, a camera capable of 4K recording (Canon C70 preferred), tripod, and audio equipment.
Experience: Must have experience in shooting high-quality testimonial videos and be able to handle the entire shoot independently, including interviewing the customer.
Portfolio: Please provide samples of previous work that showcase your skills in audio, lighting, interviews, and detailed shots.
Comfortable Around Firearms: Must be comfortable working in a shooting range environment and knowledgeable about shooting safety protocols.

Project Details:

Location: Shooting range
Duration: Half-day shoot (8am-12pm)
Content: The video will feature a 2-camera setup interview with a client and B-roll that includes people using a digital waiver, signing up for text, using the Point of Sale system, location shots (aerial views preferred), and videos within the range.

We are filming 1 person sit down interviews and some scenic B Roll.
