*** , a renowned global news network, holds a strong brand presence in the competitive South Asia market, facing competition from domestic English News Channels as well as international news *** outlets. To ensure growth in the region, it is crucial to develop an effective coverage model, prioritize markets, accounts, and sales activities, and optimize limited resources.
General Summary:The Account Manager is responsible for growing the business and sourcing new accounts in the West India region, & Bengaluru delivering profitable sales revenues for *** International Commerical. The role works closely with the team in the servicing and delivery of existing accounts, reporting to the Account Director to deliver set sales targets. The role will generate and increase advertising revenue from clients and agencies, bringing the most appropriate *** solutions to clients and agencies to ensure a high level of client servicing. They will work on day to day duties directly with clients of the region or agencies.
The Account Manager collaborates with the Account Director, South Asia, to drive, encompassing Digital & Linear products and services, content sales, and Integrated International deals in the West region. Mumbai serves as the *** hub of India, while Delhi's significance and share of the domestic Ad market, particularly in the news genre, continues to grow. Additionally, due to the cross-functional setup of *** agencies *** ween the West and South of India, the role will also be responsible for market intelligence and prospecting with relevant agencies/clients in Bengaluru.
The role requires relevant experience in Advertising & Sales in a *** environment.
Key Responsibilities:Generate and increase advertising revenue streams for West India - through existing clients as well as sourcing new clients through proactive initiatives; this involves driving sales for Digital & Linear products and services and content sales.
Accountable for achieving sales revenue targets in West India & Bengaluru.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients and agencies, provide insights on new business and growth opportunities
Provide timely and accurate reports and forecasts on current revenue and the sales pipeline:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop Account Plans for key agencies/clients, leveraging the expertise of International Ad Sales Operations, Marketing, Sponsored Features, and CREATE (in-house branded content studio) to deliver optimal solutions to clients to achieve assigned revenue targets
- Work closely with the International Sales Operations team & accounting team to ensure smooth booking, running, and optimization of campaigns for Linear offerings and online, meeting customer expectations, along with Invoicing post campaign.
- Prepare post-campaign summary reports and presentations, providing valuable insights for the sales process and enabling third-party representatives to present to clients and *** agencies.
- Maintain an up-to-date regional database in collaboration with the Account Director, South Asia, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Present *** and *** *** opportunities to clients, agencies and on the ground representatives with insightful and convincing *** solutions for using international *** and specifically *** IC properties, being accurate with all *** platforms and solutions;
• Create and cultivates strong relationships with clients, agencies and representatives in the region, day to day work on requested proposals but also share good practises and knowledges with them;
• Forge successful and useful internal relationships in order to produce and manage proposals with internal departments such as creative, editorial, marketing, programmatic, digital, PR, data and research and the whole *** *** resources.
• Willing to travel as and when required within the region
Experience required: - Minimum 5 years of working experience in *** /advertising sales
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Knowledge across print, TV and online advertising *** , including vertical markets such as Travel, Business, IT
- Proficienct in spoken and writen English
- Computers with special focus on Excel, PowerPoint.
- Adept to numbers and numberical analysis
- Knowledgeable in *** industry and platforms, client and agency database maintenance
