We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the billing, cash posting, and maintenance of customer accounts. You will have extensive interaction with customers, other members of the Finance group, Customer Success, and Sales.
This is role is based out of our Indianapolis office.
The Day-to-Day
- Generate customer invoices
- Posts cash receipts for customer accounts
- Submit electronic billing through customer portals
- Initiate Debit & Credit Memos
- Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies
- Follow-up with customer regarding past due quarterly surveys
- Investigate and respond to customers' billing inquiries
- Maintain customer contact information
- Provide support for various ad-hoc projects Ensure cloud services and toolsets are deployed with best practices and are fully documented
- 5+ years' experience in accounts receivable billing
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience using CRM and Accounts Receivable systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
