Job Summary/Description:
**** News 10 in Albany, Georgia is looking for a Lifestyle Show Producer/Reporter to join our award-winning team in Albany. This producer will have multiple roles, including producing our half-hour lifestyle show called Town and Country, writing and editing, setting up interview segments, and doing feature reporting that may air in multiple shows, on multiple formats.
Duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
We ask producers to "own" their shows - to have a creative vision, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This is a newly created position for a new show launch, so we need this person to commit to a contract. It's an incredible opportunity on a fun, creative program. Working for a dominant legacy station that covers dozens of counties in South Georgia, you have the opportunity to inform, enlighten, and entertain our viewers, who consider **** to be their Hometown News Source.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education background in either journalism or communications. - Must be flexible with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts. - Must be willing to work in a newsroom
