Our Maintenance Engineers perform general maintenance duties such as, but not limited to the following: operate and maintain boilers, Industrial-Laundry equipment, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, audio/video systems, and lighting systems and all appurtenant equipment driven by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water, or any other power developing energy.

Responsibilities:

You Will :

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the industrial-laundry facility and equipment to include washers, dryers, ironers, spreaders, folders, and steam presses
• Maintain, repair, alter, modify, recondition, replace, clean, and lubricate all Resort equipment or facilities
• Perform woodworking, painting, wall papering, carpet, tile and other finish related duties as required
• Interact with Guests and other Cast Members answering questions, providing directions, event information and other ser *** to create a magical experience for our Guests

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining laundry-facility equipment with daily repairs including equipment adjustments, re-setting control formulas for washers, dryers, spreaders, stackers, and folding equipment
• Ability to complete work orders in the computerized maintenance program.
• Understand energy managements systems and operators
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Schedule Availability - Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st - Day Shift, 2nd - Swing Shift, and 3rd - Graveyard Shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Every day as an Appliance Electrician is different. On any given day or night, you might:

• Troubleshoot equipment problems at one of the many restaurants to keep the food flowing.
• Be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairing electrical systems/assemblies, lamping, installation of receptacles, switches, bending conduit, and resetting breakers.

Basic Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Ability to perform maintenance on food preparation and holding appliances/equipment. Understanding of and ability to operate under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety/sanitary guidelines. Must also be able to troubleshoot and repair gas and steam systems applied in commercial kitchen equipment.
• Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics and engineering documents, and pass all compliance for technical and safety training
• Knowledge in the control and repair of circuits and motors
• Keen troubleshooting skills and comfortable working alone or in a team.
• Ability to evaluate the scope of a job, resolve needed parts/materials, and order through authorized vendors
• Expertise using common hand tools, meters, gauges and other associated test and measurement equipment, as well as ability to measure current, voltage and amperage
• Proficiency in the basic math skills needed to do the job, differentiate colors, digital literacy, and full understanding of the National Electric Code
• Stamina and the physical ability to undertake the job. You might bicycle, bend, kneel, climb, push vehicles to re-position them for repair, work with arms/hands above shoulder level for an extended period of time, climb (sometimes as high as 200 ft.) and more, all on a regular basis

You will be required to use 2-way radios, learn CMMS (MAXIMO work order system), attend/pass compliance and other training sessions to ensure accurate maintenance documentation
Electricians may work outdoors in all weather conditions, in an industrial workshop, in kitchens with wet/slippery surfaces, and may have occasional exposure to high temperatures, noise levels, and fumes
In addition to the physical tasks listed above, Electronic Technicians may need to push/pull and/or lift up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 75 lbs. occasionally and rarely up to/over 100 lbs.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will manage the inception, development, implementation and sustainment of medium voltage (12kV) through low voltage (480V and below) AC and DC electrical systems supporting the many assets at the *** land Resort. You will help develop bid level construction documents including drawings and specifications. You will also provide im *** te support and response to reactionary projects requiring im *** te attention. Responsibilities

Leadership

• Act as Owner's Representative on projects from concept through construction at the *** land Resort.
• Perform as Engineer of Record, including signing and sealing construction documents as needed.

Management

• Manage the design and development of contract documents of projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that comply with specifications and code requirements.

Technical Skills

• Use and build your experience to develop concept designs and Request for Proposals.
• Review drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications and ensure that all projects are designed and executed to applicable local and state codes and statutes.

• 5 to 7 years of work experience in related engineering discipline, discipline and field related experience.
• 1+ year of AutoCAD and Revit experience.
• Experience with design, procurement, and logistics.
• Experience overseeing the work of others (including assigned interns), ability to collaborate and endeavor in a team environment to ensure a successful product.

You already know what its like to work as an Operating Engineer, but can you envision using your skills at a place like *** ! You would work to support both theme parks at the *** land Resort. Operating Engineers perform operational and functional checks of central plants for our facilities and world-famous attractions, providing direct support to Resort-wide hot water, chilled water, and compressed air requirements. They keep our Guests comfortable by performing troubleshooting and repair of systems and equipment (boilers, chillers, compressors), installations, maintenance, and quality checks of completed work.

Basic Qualifications:

Technical Abilities

• Journeyman Operating Engineer or maintenance machinist experience
• Unlimited CFC license
• Background as a Utilities Man Class A or C, Boiler Technician Class A or C
• Ability to use special tools and equipment
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, boilers, chiller units, cooling towers, and associated equipment
• Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic
• Familiarity with, or have the ability to learn, the Computerized Maintenance Management System ("Maximo")

Preferred Qualifications:

AA/AS in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or equivalent

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off. Availability to work overtime as needed.

Job Summary:

Our Cosmetology Cast Members provide wigs styled to an approved corporate design for all characters and performers at the *** land Resort®. They are responsible for maintaining all wigs for performers and Audio-Animatronics figures across the *** land® Resort and teaching entertainers proper makeup application.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, set, and style assigned show wigs
• Recreate specific styles from photos in a clear and defined manner which may involve period looks
• Knowledgeable of the appropriate styling tools to use when working with synthetic and human hair wigs
• Assist with pinning on wigs and retouches for parades, shows, and various Entertainment venues

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid Cosmetology license with the state of California
• Willing to join the IATSE labor union
• Lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on
• Enthusiastic about interacting and working with internal Guests/Cast Members
• Follow instruction and take direction and feedback daily
• Complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
• Self-directed and able to collaborate on a team
• Flexible and adaptable, especially working in a variety of areas, conditions, and changing shift times
• Committed and reliable for scheduled shifts
• Training Availability: Must be fully available for six (6) weeks of training
• For Part Time, must be fully available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and all holidays year-round

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of salon work experience as a licensed Cosmetologist
• Advanced industry classes/education
• Experience styling synthetic and/or human hair wigs
• Styling experience with theatrical period looks
• Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
